Philipp Stollenmayer (known as kamibox and the creator of PBJ – The Musical) has released his latest game, Bacon in Zane, for iOS. It’s a quirky adventure that follows up on his popular casual game, Bacon – The Game, which first came out eight years ago.

Okay, so “Bacon in Zane” is a really fun and surprisingly addictive sequel! It’s seriously strange, but in a good way. You basically control a piece of bacon inside a human body, and it’s up to you to manage everything – from the bacteria to the breathing and even the brain! You do it all with just a tap of your finger, which is wild. It’s full of surprises, and I honestly can’t put it down.

It’s certainly unusual, and I won’t pretend otherwise, but it actually becomes quite enjoyable once you get into it. The game involves finding exits at each level while discovering some strange, collectible items. I was surprised to find that you can even compete against your friends by racing through the game’s world.

I thought the game was surprisingly fun and interesting, even though it has some bizarre elements – like gameplay that doesn’t quite make sense and a soundtrack created from the developer’s own body sounds! On top of all that, there’s a treasure hunt going on where you can win a refurbished iPhone 13 Mini Rosé featuring special artwork. You can find more details about the hunt here.

Bacon in Zane is now available to download on iPhones and iPads through the App Store. The game is free to play, but includes ads. You can remove the ads with a one-time purchase of $0.99 this week.
