Australian singer Firerose makes a huge move following split from Billy Ray Cyrus – after shocking audio of him verbally abusing her in expletive-ridden rant emerges

Last week, Johanna Rosie Scholem, an Australian singer with a real name, revealed her new status as a United States citizen. She has resided there for nearly twenty years.

In an Instagram post, Firerose donned a sleek navy suit while being granted citizenship in Tennessee and expressed great joy over her freshly acquired status.

Before obtaining her official papers, she was observed waiting in line while holding up a US flag.

Firerose’s latest status won’t influence her divorce proceedings with Billy Ray, since she has lived in the country as a permanent resident for over two years.

In divorce proceedings, non-US citizens enjoy equal access to resources and rights, just like US citizens do.

Based on my personal perspective and understanding of the situation, I believe that the release of the distressing audio recordings detailing Firerose’s allegations of mistreatment during her marriage to Billy Ray Cyrus is a significant development in this story. As someone who has always admired Miley Cyrus for her strength and resilience, it saddens me deeply to learn about her stepmother’s experiences.

Listening to the tape is challenging as the country singer launches into a harsh verbal attack against his younger wife, filled with derision, put-downs, and bullying language without pause or mercy.

The estranged couple have since individually broken their silence over the shocking audio.

On Instagram, Firerose posted a picture of a mysterious sign with a spiritual guidance quote.

‘Give God everything you have and he will give you everything you need,’ it read.

In a statement, Billy Ray, aged 62, acknowledged that the recording features his voice and admitted that he reached his limit during the altercation.

“I was completely out of ideas,” he admitted, then went on to angrily describe the cause of his frustration.

Each day that passed, I couldn’t help but feel uneasy. It wasn’t until later that I discovered the truth – she had been deceiving me all along.

He then went on to make a series of claims about Firerose.

Before discovering that she was once married to David Hodges and her last name was unknown to me, I instinctively sensed that there was something amiss about her. At the time, I was unaware of her past legal troubles involving a felony residential burglary.

In stark disbelief, I watched as the woman I idolized before my own eyes began to challenge every belief I held about her. It seemed she had set her sights not only on my professional pursuits but also my personal life, determined to seize control and make it her own, tarnishing the legacy of the esteemed Cyrus name in the process.

Billy Ray finished the statement with: ‘See you in court.’

During her seven-month long marriage to Miley’s father, Firerose alleges that she endured persistent terrible behavior towards her, which included verbal, emotional, and psychological mistreatment over an extended period.

An astonishing recording documented an argument between Billy Ray and Firerose, during which Billy Ray accused Firerose of causing him to be tardy for our stage performance.

I can’t help but feel utterly frustrated and enraged, wishing you had simply let it be. Now, here I am, seething with anger, proving yet again that you refuse to heed my advice.

You seem to hold yourself in high regard despite my objections. This matter doesn’t concern me; it’s all about your self-centered behavior.

Billy Ray continued his profanity-filled diatribe, sneering contemptuously: “I used to believe you were intelligent, but I’ve changed my opinion on that matter. Instead, I now see you as a selfish and uncaring person. That’s the kind of person I believe you to be.”

As she implores him to quiet down, he retorts angrily, “If only you had kept quiet, none of this would have happened. Look at the chaos you’ve created.”

I’ve had enough of your careless actions and disrespectful language. With my years of experience and maturity, I can’t help but be disappointed when I encounter such behavior. You made a mistake this time, and it’s unacceptable. Your words and actions reflect poorly on you, and I strongly believe that you are capable of more than this. It’s frustrating to see someone waste their potential in this way.

New information from DailyMail.com indicates that Billy Ray Cyrus’ bitter feelings toward Firerose are not an isolated incident. Reports suggest that he has similarly antagonized other important women in his past.

They include superstar daughter, Miley, whom Billy Ray refers to only as ‘devil.’ 

In an audio recording obtained by DailyMail.com, Billy Ray makes an unusual comment about himself in the third person. Later, he shifts his focus to his daughter Miley and makes a startling remark: “It’s common knowledge that she’s a deviant.”

He treats Tish, his ex-wife and mother of his three adult children – Miley (31), Braison (30), and Noah (24) – with equal disrespect and contempt. Instead of using their names, he often refers to them as a crude term, ‘s**t.’

In his past, Billy Ray fathered a child. Later, when he wedded Tish, he took on the role of father to Brandi, 37, and Trace, 35, who were previously her children through adoption.

In an unexpected conversation with his manager and publicist Scott Adkins, as obtained by DailyMail.com, Billy Ray expressed his strong disdain for Tish, labeling her as a liar, an unfaithful partner, and a deceitful person. He further described her as a lowlife and a fraud.

“She makes Deanna look like a saint compared to Dina, who is 61 years old.”

It’s thought that Billy Ray’s quick marriage to Firerose in 2022, following Tish’s divorce filing, may have put a strain on his relationship with Miley.

A once popular child actor, raised on Disney Channel with her dad, notoriously ignored Billy Ray during her Grammy Awards speech in February.

Billy Ray first met Firerose in 2010 when he was still married to second wife Tish. 

A Sydney-born artist, originally named Johanna Scholem at birth, is known by another name now, as indicated by obtained documents from DailyMail.com.

At that time, Miley was 22 years old, and Billy Ray, her co-star, was 48, on the popular Disney Channel program “Hannah Montana.”

A decade passed since they developed a friendship, and during that time there were no romantic developments. Then, unexpectedly, the country singer contacted her with an invitation to collaborate on a rendition of “Delta Dawn” by Tanya Tucker.

At that point, he remained married to Tish yet shared with Firerose that they were meant for each other deeply, pledging an everlasting love between them.

The pair were married in October 2023 but today all the grand talk of old rings hollow.

Seven months after their wedding in May, Billy Ray initiated a divorce filing, initiating a contentious legal process as indicated in court documents.

On May 22, 2024, Billy Ray asked Firerose to leave their marital home, a day before she was scheduled for a preventative double mastectomy due to her BRCA1 gene diagnosis in 2020. She’s put off the surgery indefinitely since then.

About two weeks ago, she submitted a request in court for access to their shared property, stating that her ex-husband has prevented her from going back to the house to collect her possessions.

According to documents obtained by DailyMail.com, Firerose had consented to leave the shared residence following his divorce petition and was forbidden from re-entering without approval.

On May 29, it was arranged that she could pick up the remaining items, but this plan didn’t work out since Firerose was switching lawyers at the moment.

According to the records, they tried to arrange a new convenient date for each other during the next few weeks. However, on July 12, Firerose learned that she was no longer allowed to come back.

According to the letter mentioned, the wife’s untrustworthiness was brought up and the husband expressed concerns over her suspected pre-marital indiscretions. (Or) The letter revealed that the husband doubted his wife’s trustworthiness due to accusations of past pre-marital misconduct.

In explaining his position on the motion, Billy Ray referred to an article from Page Six published on July 11th. In this piece, Firerose discussed her past arrest and the resulting 60-day imprisonment.

According to the records, Mr. Cyrus wasn’t aware that an arrest had occurred involving Firerose. Given Firerose’s history of deception and hiding past details from Mr. Cyrus, his legal team decided to thoroughly examine her declarations.

Instead of “However, text messages obtained by DailyMail.com seem to contradict those claims,” you could paraphrase as “Text messages obtained by DailyMail.com suggest a different story, implying that the country star was indeed involved in conversations about the incident with his wife.”

In a November 2023 group chat, Billy Ray, his spouse, and Adkins talked about a fresh song idea. This conversation revealed that they drew inspiration from Firerose’s past struggles, specifically her time spent in jail.

According to court documents submitted by Firerose, Billy Ray allegedly cut her off from all contacts except for her AA sponsor whom she continued to communicate with. After a painful duration of only seven months, Billy Ray initiated the divorce proceedings.

In his divorce application, Billy Ray mentioned Firerose’s “improper spouse behavior” as the reason and asked for an annulment based on “deception,” without specifying the kind of deceit mentioned in the court records.

In the court records submitted against Billy Ray’s divorce application by Firerose, it is stated that his erratic and explosive behavior is attributed to suspected substance use problems.

Last month, Billy Ray countered accusations made against him in court by filing documents asserting that it was actually Firerose who was the abuser in their marriage.

In the documents submitted in Franklin, Tennessee last June, Billy Ray stated that the defendant’s accusations of mistreatment were merely an exaggeration of her unfounded complaints by employing the term “abuse” for dramatic effect.

The plaintiff admits to having expressed strong emotions towards the defendant in May 2024. However, it is important to note that the plaintiff was not just verbally and emotionally, but also physically harmed by the defendant.

According to an affidavit attached here, Billy Ray’s manager Adkins declared that he observed Firerose speaking disrespectfully and behaving disruptively towards Mr. Cyrus during the time he managed both individuals.

Adkins went on to state that on one occasion Billy Ray told him, ‘Scott she is hitting me again.’

Billy Ray alleged that his wife, Firerose, had racked up $96,986 in unauthorized charges on his credit cards. He stated that she wasn’t authorized to sign on his cards or accounts and obtained a court order last month prohibiting her from further usage.

For her part Firerose claimed that she felt ‘unsafe’ with him in their Nashville home. 

On several instances, she had to urgently see her therapist for psychological help, given how poisonous her relationship with her former lover had become.
