Ariana Grande seems to be shifting her focus towards acting. While she’s already appeared in the upcoming Wicked movies—which also feature music—she’s now set to make her stage debut in London’s West End in 2027 with a production of Sunday in the Park with George.
It’s unclear when Ariana Grande will start acting again, separate from her music, but her fans know she isn’t finished with her singing career. She announced on Tuesday that her new album, Petal, will be released on July 31st.
I was checking out the singer’s website, and they described their new album as a really vibrant, hopeful project – something that blossomed even after going through tough times. It sounds like it’s all about finding life and growth in the face of hardship, which I’m really excited about!
Ariana Grande announces new album, though the details are few
The details of this release are still a secret. Since no singles or tracklists have been revealed, we don’t know how many songs will be on the album or anything else about the new music.
You know, it totally makes sense that leaks happen so often these days. But honestly, part of what I love about a new album dropping is experiencing it with everyone else, all at the same time. It feels like we’re all in on it together, which is a really cool feeling.
Going to an Ariana Grande concert is another shared experience many will enjoy. She’s kicking off a major tour in June, starting in Oakland, California, and wrapping up with ten shows in London. Tickets are available on her website, but they’re likely to sell out quickly!
