American Horror Stories dropping 5 new episodes as part of Huluween event
As a die-hard fan of the American Horror Story franchise, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and anticipation as I hear about the return of American Horror Stories this fall! Despite missing the parent series this year, the spinoff will certainly fill the horror void in my life.
Great news! It turns out that American Horror Stories will be making a comeback this fall! Unfortunately, it seems like we won’t see the original series American Horror Story returning this year, even though a 13th season has been confirmed. However, fans can still anticipate five fresh episodes of the spinoff to debut during Hulu’s annual “Huluween” event.
According to Deadline, the series will start streaming on Tuesday, October 15, either directly on Hulu or via the Hulu content within the Disney+ app if you have a bundle subscription. For those residing in Canada, the series will debut on Disney+ as well, on the same day, October 15. The show is expected to be available on Disney+ worldwide, though you may want to verify your local listings for specific air dates and times. It appears that all five episodes will become available simultaneously.
American Horror Stories debuted during the summer of 2021, airing a seven-episode inaugural season. Following this, it came back with an additional eight episodes for its second season in 2022. Last year, four more episodes were released as part of its third season. As Deadline reports, the show is currently in its third run, suggesting that the upcoming episodes could either belong to season 3 or constitute a fourth season.
Information about the upcoming episodes’ plot isn’t available yet. What we do have, however, is the release date and the cast list for these five spine-tingling stories. Here’s the roster of actors set to star:
- Victor Garber
- Debby Ryan
- Henry Winkler
- Michael Imperioli
- Dyllón Burnside
- Jeff Hiller
- June Squibb
- Guy Burnet
- Jessica Barden
- Angel Bismark Curiel
On the platform previously known as X (Twitter), the account of American Horror Source posted a sneak peek artwork for the upcoming episodes, depicting a woman confined in a straitjacket lying on a bed, with a colossal monster’s claw emerging from beneath it, ominously stretching towards her.
