Sources say a singer from The X Factor, a dancer from the group Diversity, and a TV personality have joined the cast of the new Celebrity Apprentice series.
The Celebrity Apprentice first premiered in 2007, and was later adapted into special editions for charity, including Sport and Comic Relief versions in 2008, 2009, and 2019. A Christmas special is planned for 2025.
The new season of Celebrity Apprentice will premiere later this year, and the cast will be revealed shortly.
The Sun reports that Alexandra Burke, Jordan Banjo, and Kay Burley are among the celebrities participating.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Alexandra, Jordan and Kay for comment.
Elsewhere on Friday, Emmerdale’s Danny Miller was announced as the first contestant on the series.
The 35-year-old actor is famous for his role as Aaron Dingle on the soap opera, but he became even more well-known after winning ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2021.
According to a source at The Sun, Danny has a strong possibility of succeeding, as he previously won the 2021 season of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’
He consistently charms audiences whenever his warm and friendly side shines through, which is especially delightful because it’s so different from the somewhat grumpy character he plays on Emmerdale.
As a lifestyle expert, I was glued to the screen for the finale of The Apprentice! Karishma Vijay absolutely crushed it, winning Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment. It was a really close call, but she beat out Pascha Myhill in a super tense showdown. Huge congrats to Karishma – I can’t wait to see what she does with it!
Oh my gosh, she said she’s eternally grateful for being on the show! Can you believe it? She actually said it changed her life! Apparently, things were really tough for her before – she said she’d ‘hit rock bottom’ – but landing that spot totally turned everything around. I’m just so happy for her; she deserves all the good things happening now!
Karishma is the latest winner of the popular show, becoming the 21st person to receive investment from Lord Sugar. Over the years, Lord Sugar has invested in a wide range of businesses, from food brands like those selling sweets and brownies, to companies specializing in recruitment, plumbing, and even cosmetic clinics.
I was so thrilled to watch Karishma win against Pascha Myhill on Thursday! It was amazing seeing Pascha, the youngest contestant this season, go head-to-head with Karishma, presenting their businesses to Lord Sugar and the judges. Karishma really shone and deserved the win.
Karishma won £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar for her beauty brand, Kishkin Skin, after delivering a compelling presentation on the show’s twentieth series.
Winning this competition means she can finally afford to buy a home, after living with her parents in Croydon for months. It also gives her a platform to advocate for greater inclusivity and fairer chances for people of her background in an industry where they’ve often been ignored.
As a lifestyle expert, I was really moved by the latest Apprentice winner’s story. It’s incredibly powerful that the winner is the daughter of immigrants – it’s a huge moment, and honestly, a beacon of hope for anyone who’s ever felt stuck or like their dreams were out of reach. It really proves that things can change, and that’s something beautiful to witness.
Some girls have an easier time succeeding than others, and I’ve noticed that those who share my background often have to work much harder to get the same chances.
I haven’t been able to access that list for a while because of my appearance. I don’t fit the typical beauty standards, specifically the Eurocentric ideals that are often preferred.
‘I am the girl next door, and people actually buy what the girl next door talks about.’
The Apprentice is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
