What’s New in Avowed’s NG+ Mode?

The latest update to Avowed lets you replay the story with your existing character through a New Game Plus mode, so you don’t have to start from scratch. Your second playthrough will be more challenging than the first – enemies are tougher, allowing you to really test and refine your character build. Here’s a look at what you can expect in Avowed’s NG+ mode.

What’s New in Avowed New Game Plus?

Okay, so I just found out what changes in Avowed’s New Game Plus. Basically, it’s all about tougher enemies. Every enemy in the game levels up with you, and it’s not just a simple stat boost. They’re getting extra perks too – like, they might have different abilities or be resistant to certain damage types. It’s going to be a real challenge!

All Avowed New Game Plus Enemy Modifiers

Colossal Increased max health.
Life Steal Attacks restore health by a percentage of the damage dealt.

What Do You Keep in Avowed New Game Plus?

So, I just found out Avowed is getting a New Game Plus, and it’s awesome! Basically, it lets me keep building my character after I finish the main story. They’re letting us carry over all the important stuff – you know, the things that really define how my character has developed. Here’s what we get to keep after starting a fresh playthrough:

  • All Unique Weapons and Armor (but they are reset to Level 1)
  • All unlocked Enchantments
  • All unique gloves and boots
  • All unlocked abilities (except for story-locked Godlike abilities)
  • All spent attribute points

Meanwhile, all the following will not carry over to Avowed NG+ playthroughs:

  • Gold
  • Crafting and Upgrade Materials
  • Enchanting Materials
  • Food Ingredients
  • Potions
  • Food
  • Quest items
  • God totems & trinkets
  • Fast travel points & exploration progress (fog of war)
  • Companions

You’ll begin the game fully equipped, but you’ll still need to improve your gear over time. Don’t worry though – the game’s difficulty is designed around this, so your attacks will always be effective.

If you’ve already completed Avowed and want to begin a New Game Plus with the same character, load an earlier save file and finish the game again from that point.
