1 Trillion Shiba Inu (SHIB) Removed From Exchanges: Substantial Pivot

1 Trillion <a href="https://tech-oracle.com/shib-usd/">Shiba Inu</a> (<a href="https://bbg-news.com/shib-usd/">SHIB</a>) Removed From Exchanges: Substantial Pivot

Over 1 trillion Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens have recently moved off of centralized exchanges, suggesting a change in how SHIB holders are managing their assets. This large movement shows many token owners are choosing to store their SHIB in personal wallets instead of leaving it on exchanges for quick trading, although exchange reserves remain generally consistent.

Pressure is rapidly decreasing

When a lot of cryptocurrency moves out of exchanges, it often suggests less immediate selling pressure. Investors typically withdraw their tokens to hold them for the long term, especially if overall market confidence is growing.

Over the last 24 hours, approximately 1 trillion SHIB tokens were withdrawn from platforms, which is a significant daily change. Despite high deposit and withdrawal activity on exchanges, on-chain data suggests a gradually positive trend. While exchanges still hold a large amount of the total SHIB supply, their reserves have increased slightly.

Despite recent challenges, more people are actively using the network, and overall transaction numbers are up, which suggests growing participation. Significant withdrawals from exchanges and increased activity usually mean investors are becoming more involved, not reacting out of fear. From a technical perspective, SHIB recently experienced one of its largest trading volume increases in months.

Agressive rally is pretty close

The price of the asset rose sharply, breaking through key moving averages as trading volume surged to nearly 2 trillion tokens. This rally briefly reached a high around $0.0000050-$0.0000051 before encountering resistance and some selling.

The long upper wick on today’s price chart suggests sellers quickly stepped in after the price tried to rise. However, the price moving back above its medium-term averages is a positive sign, as it’s a change from the consistent decline seen throughout most of July.

SHIB is facing strong resistance around $0.0000054 to $0.0000055, as well as the 100-day moving average. If the price can break above this level, it could potentially climb towards the 200-day moving average near $0.0000060, which would improve the overall technical outlook for SHIB.

The $0.0000048 price point, which previously acted as resistance, now serves as the first level of support if the price drops. If the price stays above this level, it suggests the recent upward breakout isn’t necessarily over. After several weeks of declining prices, SHIB could start to recover more broadly if buying pressure continues and tokens are consistently removed from exchanges, especially with sustained trading volume.
