Michael Saylor’s Strategy boosted cash reserve to $3.75 billion, repurchased $25 million of STRC

MicroStrategy currently has $3.75 billion in cash, boosted by a recent raise of $544.5 million last week.

According to Executive Chairman Michael Saylor, the company’s $3.75 billion holdings could cover preferred stock dividends for about 2.1 years.

As I reviewed the latest SEC filings this morning, I found that the company successfully raised capital by selling over 5.4 million shares of its common stock.

Last week, we utilized $25 million of the capital we raised to repurchase 288,930 shares of our Series C Preferred Stock (STRC). This move allows us to reduce outstanding shares and optimize our capital structure.

The company made no changes to its bitcoin holdings, which remain at 843,775 coins.

Both MicroStrategy (MSTR) and its related preferred stock, STRC, are up roughly 2.5% in early trading today after Bitcoin surpassed $65,000 this past weekend.
