Hunter Doohan, known for his role in Evil Dead: Burn, has revealed that Season 3 of the popular Netflix show will be filmed in a surprising new location. He’s also shared that returning for the third season hasn’t been quite what he anticipated.
In a recent interview, actor Doohan shared his excitement about finally seeing his hard work pay off and talked about what’s coming up for him professionally. He revealed that he filmed Season 3 of Wednesday in both Ireland and France, and the show will take the Addams Family character Wednesday to Paris.
Wednesday’s Journey to Paris Will Largely Define Season 3
As a huge fan of the show, I was really intrigued by the shift in location, and it definitely felt intentional. It seems like a natural extension of Wednesday’s journey – remember when she went off to find Enid at the end of season two? We finally get to see where Isadora Capri was taking Tyler, and honestly, that storyline has been a highlight for me. I’m a massive Billie Piper fan, so seeing her involved was fantastic!
We recently saw a first look at the character, along with her faithful companion Thing, thanks to a photo posted by Netflix on X (formerly Twitter). The photo was accompanied by the short message, “From Paris, with dread.”
The actor remained tight-lipped about why his character, Wednesday, was in Paris, playfully suggesting he’d lose his job if he revealed too much.
In addition to Jenna Ortega and Percy Hynes White, season three of Wednesday will bring back many beloved cast members, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Emma Myers, Fred Armisen, Isaac Ordonez, Joy Sunday, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Evie Templeton, Joanna Lumley, Joonas Suotamo, and Liv Spencer. Plus, Billie Piper, known for Doctor Who, will reprise her role as Isadora Capri, and her storyline will connect with the future of Percy Hynes White’s character, Tyler Galpin.
One Wednesday Star Could Take Center Stage in Season 3
Eva Green is joining the cast of Wednesday Season 3 as Ophelia Frump, Wednesday’s aunt. Ophelia has a mysterious past and powerful abilities that have been hinted at throughout the series. In June, news came out that Green was injured. While specifics weren’t released, they described it as a severe leg injury that would temporarily stop filming.
