Marvel star’s nepo daughter, 11, received a hefty paycheck for her five-day stint on Punisher special

Jon Bernthal, a highly successful actor, is now seeing his daughter, who comes from a Hollywood family, begin her own acting career at age eleven.

A young actor snagged a part in the Disney+ special, ‘The Punisher: One Last Kill,’ which is inspired by the Marvel comic book character.

She acted with her father and earned $5,191.20 for five days of work. This included a standard weekly payment of $4,326, plus an additional amount for a single day of filming, according to TMZ.

It’s definitely part of what’s happening in Hollywood right now – seeing more and more people get opportunities because of who their parents are, but honestly, I’m just happy for Addie and this chance!

Jon Bernthal, 49, doesn’t pressure his children to follow in his acting footsteps, but he’s open to letting them explore it if they’re interested in specific opportunities.

Jon Bernthal and his wife, Erin, have two sons: 15-year-old Henry, who acted with his dad in the Hulu show The Bear, and 13-year-old Billy, who’s busy with typical teenage interests and doesn’t currently share his father’s passion for acting.

Even so, Jon Bernthal needed some persuading to allow Addie to appear in the dark and intense Punisher series, which first launched on Disney+ on May 12th.

Director Reinaldo Marcus Green recently shared on The Brandon Davis Show that he chose Addie for the role despite some hesitation from Scott Bernthal.

We ended up casting his daughter, and while he was hesitant at first, I believed having his actual daughter on screen would add a powerful emotional layer to the performance.

Green described Jon as being very protective, almost like he didn’t want anyone to take risks. Green questioned Jon’s caution, suggesting they should proceed, and surprisingly, Jon took his advice.

Addie has acted before, including a role as four-year-old Crystal in Jon Bernthal’s 2021 movie, Small Engine Repair.

The actor first became known for his role as Frank Chase in the Netflix series The Punisher, which aired for two seasons from 2017 to 2019.

He’s back as the famous Daredevil in the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, and now he’s starring in and helped write this new special with Green, also for the streaming service.

Jon Bernthal, who first gained widespread recognition playing a close friend of Rick Grimes on The Walking Dead for its first two seasons, feels a deep connection to the character of Frank Castle. He described the role as being ‘part of who I am’.

I’ve always been struck by how much this character means to people – especially within communities I deeply respect, like those in law enforcement, the military, and the broader comic book world. I spoke with Forbes back in 2021 about it, and the connection is just incredibly strong. It’s really touching to see how many people relate to this figure.

For me, taking on the role of Frank felt like a huge responsibility to the people and places he represented. Knowing they support my portrayal and feel I did it justice is incredibly humbling, and I’m deeply grateful for their acceptance.
