This is a big deal for a show that often centers on sexuality, but the show quickly moved past the revelation. While understandable considering the dramatic events surrounding Nate’s injury at the end of the episode, it’s frustrating that Euphoria hasn’t explored this further as a storyline.

Okay, so when Lexi casually tells Jules that something is “better than herpes,” it’s clearly her way of shutting down the conversation and avoiding what she’s really thinking. It’s disappointing, because Lexi’s sexuality would make for a much more compelling plot than, for example, Faye’s troubling turn. But the upcoming season feels too scattered to focus on that.
