Sebastian Stan confirms he’s expecting first baby with Annabelle Wallis

Sebastian Stan and Annabelle Wallis are going to be parents! News began circulating in March that they were expecting, and photos recently published by People showed Annabelle with a visible baby bump, confirming the reports.

While doing publicity for his new movie, Fjord, Stan shared some personal news with Deadline: he’s excited to become a father and wants to be a good dad.

The actor continued, saying he feels the weight of being a good father and, more broadly, a good person.

I’m 43, and it feels like I’m only just beginning to really learn and grow. It’s surprising to me! I especially enjoy discovering how other people think, and I make an effort to read a lot – anything and everything – to broaden my understanding.

I remember first hearing about Stan and Wallis dating back in 2022! Apparently, US Weekly spotted them together at Robert Pattinson’s birthday party – that’s how the rumors started!

The couple publicly confirmed their relationship in January 2025 at the Golden Globes, where Stan was a nominee for his performance in the film A Different Man.

After receiving the Best Actor award for a musical or comedy film, Stan ended his acceptance speech with a heartfelt message to Annabelle, declaring his love for her.

In the series, actor Fjord portrays Stan, who plays Mihai, a father of five from Romania. Mihai and his family relocate to his wife Lisbet’s small town in Norway.

Mihai and Lisbet, a devout couple, became friends with another pair, but their parenting choices soon came under question, ultimately leading to a court case.

Fjord will premiere at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on 18 May.

Stan will also be seen in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, reprising his role as Bucky Barnes.

Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki, described the upcoming film – set to release in December – as “magnificent.”

According to recent comments, the upcoming movie Avengers: Doomsday is going to be amazing and unlike anything viewers anticipate. The speaker shared with The River that it even surpassed their own expectations when they first reviewed the script.

“I thought, ‘This is going to be extraordinary.'”
