Lamborghini recently revealed the Fenomeno Roadster, a stunning open-top car, during its 63rd-anniversary event at the Imola race track. This hypercar is the final model in Lamborghini’s exclusive “Few-Off” series, offering a more aggressive look with the roof removed. Only 15 will be made and sold globally – half the number of the coupe version released earlier this year. As expected, all of them have already been purchased by a select group of Lamborghini’s best customers.
This open-top track car redefines electric performance with its powerful combination of a 6.5-liter V12 engine and three high-performance electric motors from YASA. The advanced hybrid system generates an incredible 1,065 horsepower and 793 lb-ft of torque. Powered by a 7 kWh battery, it can travel 12.4 miles on electric power alone. This allows for astonishing acceleration: 0 to 62 mph in just 2.4 seconds, 0 to 124 mph in 6.8 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 211 mph. This makes it the most powerful convertible Lamborghini has ever produced.
Creating an open-top hypercar demanded a complete overhaul of its structure to keep it both aerodynamically stable and incredibly rigid. The Fenomeno Roadster builds on the strong carbon-fiber base of the Revuelto, but its front and rear supports were designed specifically for this model. The car’s exterior was carefully reshaped to handle the increased airflow, with a carbon-fiber spoiler built into the windshield and subtle speedster humps cleverly concealing vital safety features. The final design evokes classic aircraft aesthetics while still delivering the downforce needed for high-performance track driving.
Okay, so this car isn’t just powerful, it looks the part. The paint job is seriously cool – it’s this three-tone thing with blue, red, and exposed carbon fiber, and it’s a throwback to an old classic, the 1968 Miura Roadster. The headlights are really sharp and triangular, and the taillights have this unique Y shape. Plus, it’s got a huge hexagonal exhaust! The wheels are special too – they’re center-lock, which just adds to the aggressive look. Inside, everything is built around the driver. There’s a big touchscreen that’s set up vertically, and the seats and everything are totally custom. Honestly, it’s just over-the-top and amazing – a real modern performance machine.
