As a huge Marvel fan, I’m so excited that we might get our first glimpse of something new in theaters! One of the biggest movie chains in the US is apparently planning to show it, which is awesome!
Alamo Drafthouse is hosting a special preview event for the new Prime Video series, Spider-Noir, starring Nicolas Cage. On May 25th, fans in NYC, Los Angeles, Austin, San Francisco, Chicago, and Raleigh can see the first two episodes on the big screen before the series officially launches on MGM+ (May 25th) and Prime Video (May 27th). Get a first look at this world of detective stories and complex characters!
Alamo Drafthouse has given fans a preview of their new streaming series and announced that some of the actors will be at special screenings. The series features a detective from 1930s New York, who is also the city’s only superhero, and explores his difficult past after a personal loss. The cast includes Brendan Gleeson, Jack Huston, Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, and Karen Rodriguez. Lamorne Morris and Jack Huston, who play characters named Robbie Robertson and Flint Marko/Sandman, will be at the Alamo Drafthouse in downtown Los Angeles after a screening to answer questions from the audience.
As a huge movie fan, I’m really excited about what Alamo Drafthouse is doing! They’re not just showing films, they’re creating a whole experience. If you get hungry during the movie – and let’s be honest, who doesn’t? – they’ll have a special menu inspired by those classic black and white films. Think diner food with a cool twist! I’m definitely trying the ‘Popcorn Noir,’ a darker, seasoned popcorn, and ‘The City Dog’ sounds perfect for a late-night movie. They’ve even got themed drinks, like a ‘Black Manhattan’ and ‘Dark & Stormy.’ And if you’re still hungry after all that, the ‘Blackout Malt’ – vanilla ice cream, Oreos, Whoppers, whipped cream, and chocolate – sounds like the ultimate treat to finish everything off!
Alamo Drafthouse Is Preparing Fans For “Spider-Noir” To Arrive On Small Screens
Before the premiere of the new Spider-Man series, Alamo Drafthouse is showing a movie marathon of films that inspired the look and feel of the “Spider-Noir” character. From April 27th to May 18th, select theaters nationwide will host “Web of Shadows,” a series of carefully chosen movies designed to get audiences ready for the live-action debut of Spider-Noir. The series highlights films filled with darkness, mysterious women, and complex moral choices. You can still catch screenings of The Third Man on May 11th and Kiss Me Deadly on May 18th.
Fans can look forward to a dark and visually striking take on Spider-Noir, one of the more intense versions of Spider-Man. After first appearing in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Noir will be even more daring, grown-up, and have a distinctive style in this new project. Sony Pictures and Prime Video have promised a moody and atmospheric experience.
Alamo Drafthouse will show Spider-Noir on May 25th, the same day it begins streaming on MGM+. If you use Prime Video, you can watch Spider-Noir starting May 27th.
