Girard-Perregaux has reimagined the adventurous style of the 1970s with the new Laureato Chronograph “Chocolate.” This watch combines a sporty look with elegant design, featuring a two-tone color scheme.

This watch, with its 42mm case, celebrates the original Laureato’s era by bringing back the popular two-tone design of the time. It’s built with premium 904L steel in a distinctive tonneau shape, which creates a strong contrast with the warm, rose gold color of the octagonal bezel, crown, and buttons.

The watch’s most striking feature is its rich chocolate brown dial, decorated with a textured hobnail pattern. This design beautifully matches the rose-gold hour markers and hands. It also features a comfortable brown rubber strap, also with the hobnail texture, which enhances the watch’s sporty look and feel.

The Laureato is driven by the GP03300, a mechanical movement created in-house that you can view through the watch’s transparent back. This intricate movement contains 419 parts and 63 jewels, and is beautifully finished with details like circular graining and Côtes de Genève. It offers a power reserve of at least 46 hours. The watch is also water-resistant to 100 meters, making it a durable and sophisticated timepiece.

Girard-Perregaux will release a limited edition of 50 Laureato “Chocolate” watches, priced at $26,000 each.
