Netflix recently announced a new series starring Michelle Keegan based on a Harlan Coben novel, but another of his suspenseful stories is arriving even sooner. We now have a first look at the trailer and know exactly when it will be released.
Okay, so I just finished watching I Will Find You, and it’s a really gripping show. It stars Sam Worthington, and it’s the first US series from Harlan Coben, which is awesome. The story follows this guy, David Burroughs, who’s stuck in prison for life, wrongly convicted of killing his son. What’s really messed up is even though he didn’t do it, he feels like he deserves to be punished. It’s a heavy story, but I was totally hooked.
Published in 2023, I Will Find You is another gripping novel by bestselling author Harlan Coben, quickly reaching the top of the Sunday Times bestseller list.

Okay, so the new trailer just dropped, and it’s a total mind-blower! It turns out David, who’s still in prison, gets a hint that his son, Matthew, might actually be alive. Seriously, talk about a twist – it’s totally giving me Harlan Coben vibes! The trailer ends with David saying, “Matthew’s out there. I’m gonna find him and bring him home…” and now I need to know what happens next!
As the story suggests, David must escape from prison to uncover the truth. The trailer gives us a glimpse of his difficult journey to reach his son, featuring scenes of him being pursued by the police.
What to Read Next
I’m so excited about the cast for this! Sam Worthington is leading the way, but there are a ton of other amazing actors joining him. I recognize Britt Lower from Severance, Erin Richards was great in The Crown, and Milo Ventimiglia, of course, is known for This Is Us. Logan Browning from Dear White People and Jonathan Tucker who I loved in Westworld are in it too – seriously, what a lineup!
Robert Hull, the showrunner and co-creator of I Will Find You, has praised the cast as “absolutely fantastic.” He’s adapting the book for television and collaborating with Harlan Coben on the series.

Netflix announced that the show will be released on June 18th, which is good news for viewers who enjoy Harlan Coben’s suspenseful series.
Netflix released Harlan Coben’s latest series, Run Away, in January. The show features a strong cast including Ruth Jones, known from Gavin and Stacey, James Nesbitt—who has appeared in previous Coben dramas like Missing You and Stay Close—Minnie Driver (Emily in Paris), Alfred Enoch (How to Get Away with Murder), and Jon Pointing (Big Boys).
The show proved popular with audiences once more, culminating in a final twist that we considered Harlan Coben’s most surprising yet.
Will I Will Find You do one better? We’ll have to wait to find out.
I Will Find You will arrive to Netflix on 18 June.
