Channel 4’s exciting drama with Keeley Hawes, Paapa Essiedu and Jason Watkins confirms release date

Channel 4 has announced that its new drama, Falling, will premiere soon. The series boasts a talented cast, including Keeley Hawes, Paapa Essiedu, and Jason Watkins.

The series follows Anna, a nun, and David, a priest, who are dedicated to their church and community, and unexpectedly develop feelings for each other.

This leaves them grappling with personal meaning, their commitments, and their faith, and the film Falling is a smart, touching, modern romance that feels both genuine and deeply emotional.

Channel 4 has announced the new series will begin on Tuesday, May 19th at 9pm, with the first episode. The second episode will air the following night. All episodes will also be available to stream online at the same time they premiere on TV.

Alongside Hawes and Essiedu in the leading roles, the series also stars Samuel Watkins (from The Crown) as Peter, Niamh Cusack (Heartbeat) as Francesca, Rakie Ayola (The Pact) as Muriel, Adrian Scarborough (Gavin & Stacey) as Francis, and David Dawson (My Policeman) as Phil.
