Seasun Games announced that its sci-fi RPG shooter, Snowbreak: Containment Zone, will be back online on May 8, 2026. The game had been offline for two months due to a disagreement over a collaboration with China Post.

If you haven’t heard, Snowbreak: Containment Zone stopped running on March 2, 2026, following significant criticism in China. Despite substantial changes to character designs on both Chinese and international versions of the game, many players still considered it overly sexualized, making a partnership with a government-related organization like China Post problematic.

The Snowbreak: Containment Zone servers will officially launch on May 8th, 2026, at 2:00 PM (UTC+8). At the same time, we’ll be starting a limited-time event called “Winds of Warmth.” More information about the event will be shared soon.

Good news! The game is back online this week, and things are returning to normal. When the servers come back up, a new, limited-time event called Winds of Warmth will also be starting. Hopefully, everything runs smoothly from now on, and players won’t have to deal with these issues again.
