Hulu’s ‘King of the Hill’ Season 15 Gets an Official Release Date

Summary

  • Hulu officially sets a summer release date for the highly anticipated 15th season of its animated revival
  • The new 10-episode installment drops entirely at once for both Hulu and Disney+ bundle subscribers
  • Original voice actors Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, and Stephen Root all return to the beloved series

Hulu has announced that Season 15 of King of the Hill will premiere this summer, continuing the show’s popular return. All 10 episodes will be available at once, offering the same clever humor fans love but with storylines relevant to today’s world.

After a hugely popular fourteenth season, the show is building on its original thirteen-season run by bringing the story into the present day. The new season follows Hank and Peggy Hill as they adjust to retirement on Rainey Street, trying to manage their quirky neighbors after a successful job in Saudi Arabia. At the same time, their now-grown son, Bobby, is in Dallas, juggling his childhood friends with the demands of being a chef and running his own business.

The show’s comeback successfully blends the detailed, realistic portrayal of life in Arlen, Texas, with a look at how America has changed since the original series ended. Featuring the familiar voices of the original cast – including Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss – the show pays tribute to those who are no longer with us while still feeling fresh and modern. Hulu has already ordered two more seasons, totaling 20 episodes, proving that the Hill family’s relatable characters and slow-burn humor continue to resonate with audiences in the world of adult animation.

The first look at the new season is coming soon! Season 15 of King of the Hill will begin streaming on Hulu and Disney+ on July 20th.
