‘Where’s My Drink?’ Lisa Rinna Compares Filming The Traitors To Real Housewives

Season 4 of The Traitors includes some famous faces from The Real Housewives, including Lisa Rinna. Rinna, formerly on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has shared how filming the competition show differed from her time on Bravo.

Lisa Rinna famously worried she couldn’t survive being without her phone while filming The Traitors in Scotland, but she made it through! Now, she’s talking to ET about her experience and her approach to the game of deception. When asked about her strategy, she explained:

I went into the show with no real game plan. As soon as they see you as a ‘Housewife,’ they put you in that box, and it’s hard to escape. Other reality contestants are so prepared – they’re like survival experts who can handle anything for weeks. Me? I was just confused, asking what was going on, looking for a drink, and totally unprepared for the physical challenges.

It’s completely understandable that Lisa Rinna found The Traitors different from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While she’s experienced with reality TV, The Traitors demands physical endurance and cunning strategy in a way RHOBH didn’t. She clearly had to adapt, especially with such strong competitors from shows like Survivor and Big Brother.

Rinna wasn’t the only Real Housewife competing on Season 4 of The Traitors. I was really excited to see Candiace on the show, and I think she’ll be great! Rinna also mentioned how much fun it was to film the Peacock series, saying:

The best thing about it is that it’s simply enjoyable and playful. It’s a positive experience, free from negativity or anything unpleasant – it’s just a game, and we’re all here to have fun.

The Real Housewives franchise is meant to be lighthearted entertainment, but fans know it’s often become quite dramatic. Recent seasons have been filled with cast members actively trying to sabotage each other, and there have even been several arrests. Because of this, even though The Traitors involves deception and betrayal, it’s actually less intense than watching Lisa Rinna’s time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
