The third season of Silo is officially coming to Apple TV on July 3, 2026. After everything Rebecca Ferguson’s character, Juliette, went through to get back to Silo 18 at the end of season two, she’s sure to be a changed person in the new season.
Okay, so I’ve gotten the details, and let me tell you, they’ve really shaken things up with this character. They’re taking her story in a direction I absolutely didn’t see coming – a pretty major shift from what we expected. It’s a bold move, and honestly, I’m intrigued!
Okay, so the end of Silo season 2 was insane! Juliette finally makes it back to Silo 18, and she’s desperate to tell Bernard she thinks she’s figured out how to save everyone. He’s pretty hopeless, actually trying to run, but she almost gets through to him. But then, right as they’re about to go inside, they accidentally lock themselves in that thermal decontamination thing! It was such a cliffhanger!
Although we don’t know what happens to Juliette in season 2, she’s confirmed to return for season 3 of Silo. However, an important event will significantly change her storyline. This new challenge won’t only affect her and the others, but it will also create openings for her rivals to gain an advantage.
Juliette Will Experience Memory Loss In Silo Season 3
The newest trailer for Silo season 3 suggests we’ll see flashbacks revealing the history of the silos themselves. This is exciting news because it means viewers will finally discover why the silos were built and what caused the apocalyptic event. Adding to the tension, the season will begin with Juliette suffering from memory loss.
The official synopsis for Silo season 3 reveals that Juliette will survive the decontamination chamber incident, but she’ll lose her memory. This is a significant turning point, especially considering how much she discovered about the world outside Silo 18 during season 2. Towards the end of the season, she even uncovered the truth about the Safeguard Procedure – a system designed to eliminate entire silos.
Thanks to Solo, she managed to shield her people from the Safeguard Procedure and persuaded Bernard she could save them before time ran out. However, her memory loss makes it seem almost certain she’ll forget everything she’s accomplished.
Okay, so after the season 2 finale of Silo, it’s pretty clear that Juliette’s journey in season 3 is going to be all about piecing together what she discovered. She managed to get around the Safeguard Procedure, and it looks like Bernard is the only one who knows it. As a viewer, I’m anticipating he’ll be instrumental in helping her unlock those lost memories – essentially, he’s the key to understanding what she learned and what it all means.
Juliette will once again be the key to the future of Silo 18. But this season, her biggest challenge won’t be a physical fight – it’ll be a struggle with her own mind. Her memories are broken and she’s questioning what’s real, meaning she’ll be a changed person in season 3. And that’s what will make her journey so captivating.
Juliette’s Memory Loss Story Risks Repeating 1 Silo Season 2 Issue
Season 2 of Silo definitely continued the story in an engaging way, but it didn’t quite reach the heights of the first season. The growing rebellion within Silo 18 was interesting, though Juliette’s storyline felt slow-paced and uneven throughout the season.
Viewers felt the show unnecessarily delayed Juliette’s return home in Silo 17 by constantly giving her new obstacles. The current season, with its focus on memory loss, could easily fall into the same pattern of slowing down her progress.
Dragging out the storyline about Juliette’s memory loss could make her story feel slow and repetitive, which would lessen the excitement and need to uncover the truth – something that was so compelling in the first season of Silo. Let’s hope the upcoming seasons 3 and 4 avoid the issues of season 2 and are as good as, or even better than, the first season.
Since Apple TV’s Silo has so much more of the book’s story left to tell, it’s unlikely future seasons will slow down the focus on the main character like they did in season two.
