They have made fashion history over the years with their matching ensembles.
David and Victoria Beckham were spotted enjoying a stylish dinner in New York City on Wednesday, returning to their habit of glamorous public outings.
The couple, both in their early fifties, looked fantastic in matching navy outfits. Victoria continued her signature style with a sleek suit.
She wore a stylish, well-fitting two-piece outfit and showcased her new GAP collection with a T-shirt from the line.
David complemented Victoria’s outfit with a practical, button-down shacket and coordinating trousers in a similar color.
Victoria displayed her stylish look and debuted her new ‘bronde’ hair color, a beautiful mix of blonde and brown.
Before having dinner with her husband, she posted a video on Instagram showing off her white T-shirt, calling it ‘the perfect white T-shirt’.
David shared a photo of his steak dinner and a selfie with the New York City skyline, writing, ‘I do love NYC’.
Victoria has been promoting her new clothing line with GAP while traveling in the US, and her family – including David, Cruz (21), and Harper (14) – have joined her.
Romeo, age 23, and the couple’s son, Brooklyn, 26, were both absent. Brooklyn had previously publicly criticized his family in a detailed statement released in January.
Cruz also posted on Instagram, but in a much more provocative way. He wore a sweater with the Diet Coke logo, altered to replace ‘Coke’ with an offensive word.
Oh my gosh, David and Victoria’s fashion choices have always been iconic, but I still can’t get over that moment in 1999! Seriously, they showed up in those matching Gucci leather outfits and the internet basically exploded. It was the power couple look, and I’ve been obsessed ever since!
At the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, Victoria and David Beckham both wore striking white outfits – Victoria in a sparkly gown and David in a white suit.
This evening’s outing follows news that Victoria Beckham, the former Spice Girl and fashion designer, recently lost a legal case over a trademark to American handbag company Vera Bradley.
Victoria’s legal team had launched a bid to stop the brand using VB last year.
Founded in 1982 by Barbara Bradley Baekgaard and Patricia R. Miller, Vera Bradley is a US company that creates and sells luggage and handbags, generating around £200 million in revenue each year.
The law firm Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp represented Victoria Beckham Ltd. During the case, Los Angeles-based attorney Eleanor Lackman successfully argued that Victoria Beckham is globally recognized by her initials, ‘VB’.
There was concern that customers of Vera Bradley might assume Victoria and her team had designed the products, since her beauty brand uses her initials as its logo.
But after asking for more time to put their case together, it has now been dropped.
As a longtime fan, I was really surprised to see this news! Apparently, Victoria Beckham’s company, Victoria Beckham Limited, has officially asked the US Patent and Trademark Office to withdraw their request for more time to potentially challenge a trademark. Basically, they’ve decided not to oppose it right now.
Because of this, the application is no longer being considered. The Daily Mail has reached out to Victoria’s team for a statement.
Victoria Beckham recently lost a trademark dispute with a beauty company owned by a Norwegian supermodel. The court ruled that she wasn’t well-known enough in Norway to win the case.
The fashion designer stated that Vendela Kirsebom’s Vendela Beauty line used a logo very similar to her own, potentially misleading customers.
Victoria and her team shared sales data, media coverage, and their Instagram follower count to demonstrate their activity in the country.
The court decided the Beckham brand couldn’t prove how many of its followers were specifically in Norway, and also pointed out that the sales numbers they presented covered all of Scandinavia, not just Norway.
Vendela, a model who owns a skincare and makeup company, originally applied to trademark her brand in 2021 – several years before Victoria filed an opposition.
