Kylie Minogue will be the focus of a new Netflix documentary where she’ll catch up with old friends and colleagues, including someone she worked with on the show Neighbours.
In the late 1980s, Kylie Minogue, now known for her hit ‘Padam Padam,’ first gained widespread recognition as Charlene Robinson on the popular Australian soap opera, marking one of her earliest television appearances.
So, there’s this new docuseries coming out about Kylie, and it’s gonna be a deep dive into her whole career. As a long-time fan, I’m super excited to see it! It’s covering everything from when she first started on TV, and get this – Jason Donovan, who played Scott Robinson in Neighbours (Charlene’s boyfriend and then husband!), is going to be in it too. It’s gonna be a trip down memory lane for sure.
Following a preview image of Kylie Minogue, the documentary comes from the creators of the Netflix docuseries Beckham. John Battsek, who produced Beckham, is also producing this film, and Michael Harte, who edited Beckham, is directing it.
Donovan is just one of several well-known faces who will be featured in the upcoming documentary about Kylie Minogue. Netflix has also confirmed that Dannii Minogue (Kylie’s sister, also a singer and presenter), musician Nick Cave, and music producer Pete Waterman will all appear in the film, titled Kylie.

Donovan and Minogue appeared together again in the final episode of the show Neighbours in 2022. The show’s producer, Jason Herbison, described their characters, Scott and Charlene, as the show’s most iconic couple.
Kylie recently appeared in six episodes of the Netflix series The Residence. The show, a murder mystery that didn’t last long, featured her playing a heightened, fictionalized version of herself, performing at a state dinner held at the White House for Australian dignitaries.
Kylie is set to stream on Netflix at a later date.
