As a lifestyle enthusiast, I was thrilled to see the cast of ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ in London last night! They were all there for the premiere of the long-awaited sequel, and the event was absolutely buzzing with excitement. It was a truly star-studded evening!

After walking the red carpet in Leicester Square, the stars quickly changed into new outfits and headed to The National Gallery for a glamorous gala reception called ‘A Night With Runway’.

Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt, the film’s stars, shared a lot of laughs with Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci while posing for photos.

The four frontrunners were seen laughing and talking before posing for photos with London’s famous landmarks in the background.

Anne turned heads in a striking black and silver striped dress, featuring a dramatic, ruffled train.

She added height with black high heels and finished her look with a bold silver necklace and simple stud earrings.

Anne smiled brightly for the cameras, wearing her dark hair in a sleek, high ponytail – the same style she’d chosen for the earlier premiere.

Emily ditched her vibrant red trouser co-ord for a sexy black sheer minidress and opaque tights. 

The actress showed off her legs in a long-sleeved outfit, and she looked even taller with a pair of high heels.

Meryl Streep truly stood out, wearing a stunning purple sequin jacket and surprisingly breaking character as her famous Miranda Priestly by beaming a wide smile.

The Mamma Mia actress wore fashionable sunglasses and black heels, which made her look taller and more stylish.

Stanley swapped his formal black pinstripe suit for a more relaxed but still stylish navy blazer and trousers, finishing the look with a black tie.

At the gala, Simone Ashley turned heads in a stunning khaki wrap dress and high heels, showing off her incredible figure.

The movie brings Anne back together with Meryl, Emily, and Stanley as they return to the competitive world of fashion, now updated for today’s trends.

The story hints that Miranda Priestly is struggling with the falling popularity of magazines and newspapers, all while competing with Emily (Blunt), who now has significant influence over important advertising budgets.

The new movie will feature several new actors, such as Justin Theroux, Kenneth Branagh, and Lucy Liu.

The movie was filmed in both New York and Milan, and early sneak peeks have already gotten fans very excited.

Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt all give fantastic performances, as expected. The costumes are beautiful, and the music is amazing! Lady Gaga is incredible. There’s a host of new faces in the sequel. Lady Gaga has a cameo and has also written and recorded
the song Runway with rapper Doechii for the film’s soundtrack.

I was so excited to see Donatella Versace, Ciara, and Ashley Graham make appearances! And I loved Justin Theroux as Emily’s boyfriend, Benji. Kenneth Branagh was perfect as Miranda’s new husband, and Simone Ashley really shined as Miranda’s assistant. It was fun spotting all the familiar faces!

There have been some victims of the edit though as Sydney Sweeney has had her cameo cut.   

The actress appeared as herself in a short, three-minute scene where she received a makeover from Emily Blunt’s character, Emily Charlton.

Entertainment Weekly reports that a scene featuring Sydney was originally planned for early in the film, but it was ultimately cut because it didn’t fit the story’s flow.

People first found out she was in the movie when she was seen arriving at the film set in New York City in August.

The sequel to the 2006 film will feature Miranda Priestly as she prepares to retire. The story brings her back together with Andy Sachs, but this time they’re facing off as rivals, with Andy’s former colleague, Emily Charlton, caught in the middle.

Sydney was removed from the film after public attention turned to her family’s political beliefs, creating controversy.
