Zayn Malik recovering from mystery health scare and ‘seeking treatment from top cardiologist’ after hospital dash as he pulls out of a host of events to promote his new album

Zayn Malik is currently recovering from an undisclosed health issue and is receiving care from a leading heart specialist following a recent trip to the hospital.

Zayn, age 33, recently posted a picture from the hospital and has cancelled several appearances to support his new album.

The singer unfortunately had to cancel his April 13th performance in Kingston, UK. He was scheduled to play a special one-night show featuring songs from his new album, KONNAKOL, and shared that he was very upset about having to cancel.

He shared on Instagram that he was really upset about having to miss seeing everyone this week. He expressed deep gratitude for their support, saying he wouldn’t be where he is today without them, and also thanked the hospital staff.

According to a source, Zayn is consulting with what’s considered the world’s leading heart doctor for additional medical care.

According to People.com, the actor had to cancel his planned appearance on The Tonight Show this week while he continues to get better.

He’s still dealing with health problems, and on his doctor’s advice, he had to cancel his scheduled appearance on Fallon, according to a source.

A representative for Zayn Malik has been contacted by Daily Mail for comment. 

Zayn is preparing for his biggest solo tour ever with 31 dates worldwide.

It’s a milestone step for Zayn, who cancelled previous live dates due to ‘extreme anxiety’.

Zayn’s tour begins on May 12th, 2026, at the AO Arena in Manchester. He’ll then perform in Glasgow and Birmingham, and conclude his European dates with a show at London’s The O2 on Saturday, May 23rd, just before the Spring Bank Holiday.

Zayn’s tour will include shows in cities like Los Angeles, Mexico City, and São Paulo, finishing with a performance in Miami at the Kaseya Center on November 20th.

The celebrity has faced criticism this week following reports that he got into a physical altercation with Louis Tomlinson, 34, from the band One Direction, during the filming of a Netflix documentary.

The Sun reports that the show has been cancelled because Zayn and Louis got into a fight. Sources claim Zayn punched Louis, causing a concussion that needed medical attention.

The pair have reportedly not spoken since the incident occurred six months ago.

Louis appeared to confirm his ‘feud’ with Zayn as he unfollowed his former One Direction bandmate.

After reports surfaced about a physical altercation, Louis stopped following Zayn on Instagram. However, Zayn continues to follow Louis, remaining one of the 17 accounts he subscribes to.
