A24 is investing heavily in its upcoming movie based on the game Elden Ring. According to sources at The Hollywood Reporter, the film has a $100 million budget, making it A24’s biggest and most ambitious project yet.

Production on the film is scheduled to begin this week in the UK, and crew have already been seen building sets resembling areas from the game, including Limgrave and a Church of Marika. The director is Alex Garland, known for films like Ex Machina and Civil War, and A24 is investing significantly more resources into this project than they did with Marty Supreme. Filming is expected to take 100 days, with the movie currently slated for release on March 3, 2028.
