Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Levison Wood – the Levison Wood, you know, the ridiculously handsome adventurer everyone was obsessed with? – is single again! Apparently, Britain’s most eligible bachelor title is up for grabs, and honestly, my heart skipped a beat when I heard. I mean, a man who walks through countries? Yes, please! I’m just saying, this is HUGE news for anyone who’s been secretly (or not so secretly) crushing on him.
Television personality and adventurer Alex Beresford, 43, announced his relationship with Ana Protasio last June, but she has now shared that they have split up.
The former model, now a yoga teacher, shared on Instagram that she and Levison have decided to separate and move on with their lives.
‘Full of gratitude for everything we shared and for the life of our beautiful daughter.
He’s an amazing person and a wonderful father, someone I’ll always treasure in my life. Though things are changing, I’m grateful for all I’ve experienced and optimistic about what’s to come.
It was only in August that the couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter, called Maya.
When Ana announced the arrival of her baby, she shared a heartfelt message: ‘Maya Katharine Lima Wood arrived on August 7th. I’ve been holding my whole world in my arms for the past few days! It’s a magical moment, and no words can express how wonderful it is to be your mother. I love you, my daughter!’
They had only revealed their relationship a few weeks prior, after the former army officer decided to share it publicly.
Levison once shared with his audience: ‘I’ve encountered countless people during my travels, but occasionally, someone truly special arrives—someone who doesn’t just join the journey, but transforms it. Ana is one of those people.’
We’ve been through a lot together recently – lots of exciting experiences, tough moments, and dedicated effort. Now, we’re looking forward to a promising new beginning.
I was absolutely shocked when I heard about what happened in 2020. A doctor actually went to prison for 13 months after relentlessly stalking a TV explorer I really admire. It was a three-month ordeal that truly terrified him – he said he constantly felt like he was being watched and ended up having to sell his house just to feel safe. It’s just awful to think about someone’s home being violated like that.
In April, Fiza Jabeen, a 36-year-old woman from Harborne, Birmingham, started sending the explorer inappropriate and offensive messages on Instagram and Twitter.
Even after a restraining order was issued, she continued to relentlessly contact the former paratrooper’s friends, family, and previous partner through social media and email.
Dr. Jabeen, who used to work as a children’s doctor at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, was arrested after going to Mr. Wood’s house in Richmond.
The court heard the woman approached the celebrity while he was walking his dog in Bushy Park, asking if she could visit his home for tea and to use his internet connection.
Mr. Wood became well-known for his documentaries and books detailing his incredible hitchhiking adventures across multiple continents.
I recently had the incredible experience of being featured in the Channel 4 series, Walking With Elephants. We followed, entirely on foot, the amazing 650-mile annual migration of elephants in Botswana – it was truly a journey to remember!
