Inside Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid’s nepo baby son’s secret Aussie wedding as reclusive Hollywood actress slips into Sydney for the ceremony in a sleepy NSW town

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Jack Quaid – yes, the Jack Quaid, Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid’s son – just got married! And not in some fancy LA spot, but here in Australia! Apparently, he and his amazing co-star, Claudia Doumit, had a super private ceremony somewhere in New South Wales. I’m absolutely losing it! It’s like a dream come true just knowing they were here!

On Saturday, the couple got married at Mona Farm in the historic town of Braidwood, surrounded by their loved ones.

The upscale location is about a four-hour drive south of Sydney, the city where the actors were first seen together in 2022.

The beautifully kept grounds feature impressive modern sculptures, and fluffy Highland cows wander freely nearby, sometimes just steps from where wedding ceremonies are held.

Jack, known for his role in the TV show The Boys, and Claudia seemed very much in love at their wedding. Short videos of their first dance as a married couple were shared on Instagram.

The videos were taken down, likely because family members shared them before they were ready to be public.

The actor, son of two well-known performers who were both at the event, wore a striking red suit with yellow sunflowers stitched onto the lapels, giving it a western feel.

Oh my gosh, Claudia, our Sydney girl, absolutely floored everyone! She wore this incredibly classic, beautiful white dress – it was just perfect on her, a total showstopper!

The dress had flower details on the straps of its square neckline, and she wore a matching floral headband to keep her brown hair off her face.

Claudia flaunted her shape in the corset bodice, which cascaded into a voluminous skirt.

They seemed completely absorbed in each other as they danced to Donovan’s “Atlantis” for their first dance as a couple.

They stood in the spotlight, with family and friends watching, framed by large red curtains and beautiful wildflowers.

Guests celebrated with the newly married couple at a reception held inside a tent behind the building, where they all enjoyed a meal together.

Guests received red bandana napkins decorated with the couple’s names and a fun picture of them riding a mechanical bull.

I was so excited to hear that Jack and Claudia had their weekend celebration at Mona Farm! From what I understand, they were surrounded by all their dearest friends and family – it sounds like the perfect getaway.

The Daily Mail photographed some of the guests visiting a local café for breakfast and coffee, which quickly became the talk of the town.

Later, the couple enjoyed an al fresco brunch with their guests back at the venue.

Actor Dennis, Jack’s father, was spotted at Sydney airport. He arrived without his wife, Laura Savoie, and didn’t seem to be going to a brunch event.

Meg was also at the wedding, having secretly flown to Australia from the US earlier in the week.

She was seen at Sydney Airport on Monday with her daughter, Daisy, whom she adopted from China in 2006. Daisy is 22 years old.

She dressed comfortably for her flight home in loose brown pants, a light brown coat, and black sneakers. Even inside the airport, she kept her Ray-Ban sunglasses on as she pulled her suitcase along.

I always say comfort is key, and that definitely seemed to be Daisy’s motto! I spotted her walking with her mom, looking super relaxed in a black sweatshirt – a fun one with a unicorn, no less! – paired with black sweatpants and cute, round glasses. It was a perfectly effortless, everyday look.

Wedding guests brought a lot of excitement to the quiet town of Braidwood, showing off their stylish outfits.

One guest wore a long, flowing purple dress, and others dressed in western wear like cowboy hats, boots, and large silver necklaces, fitting the wedding’s theme.

Claudia’s mother, Mary Zavaglia, caused a stir when she was seen wearing a long, brown mink coat.

When the Ryans and Quaids arrived in the quiet country town, everyone at the local pub was talking about it.

Fans were surprised by Jack and Claudia’s wedding announcement, as they hadn’t previously shared news of their engagement.

Jack last spoke about their very private relationship to the Los Angeles Times in July 2025.

During the interview, he explained that on Sunday mornings, either he or Claudia typically makes coffee, as they have a set morning ritual.

I don’t mean to sound arrogant, but I haven’t been around much lately – at least not for the past year. So when I am home, I really try to appreciate being there.

Every day starts the same way for me: I wake up, make coffee, and put on a record. I usually choose either Nick Drake’s Pink Moon or Arlo Parks’ Super Sad Generation.

I often listen to Marty Robbins’ Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs – it’s a great album to help me relax and start the day calmly.

Claudia and her partner first appeared together as a couple on the red carpet at the 2024 Oscars. Claudia wore a stunning, see-through metallic dress with long sleeves.

Jack opted for a velvet, deep plum tuxedo paired with a black bow tie and patent dress shoes.

People began speculating about a romance between Claudia and Jack in 2022 after they were spotted holding hands in Sydney.

The couple traveled to Australia to promote the third season of ‘The Boys,’ the show where they initially connected in 2020.

Claudia plays the villain Victoria Neuman in the show, and Jack has been starring as the main character, Hughie Campbell, since 2019.
