When Netflix released Wednesday in 2022, it quickly became a massive success, exceeding all expectations. Although The Addams Family has been a beloved franchise for years, the previous animated movies hadn’t been blockbuster hits. Another popular Netflix show from the 2020s is Emily in Paris, a romantic comedy about an American woman living in Paris. Now, a sneak peek at the upcoming third season of Wednesday suggests a surprising connection to Emily in Paris.
Netflix recently shared a first peek at Season 3 of Wednesday, teasing it with the message, “From Paris, with dread.” Filming began in February, and this new look offers just a hint of what’s to come. The second season ended with Wednesday Addams leaving Nevermore Academy and her family to team up with her uncle Fester in a search for her roommate, Enid Sinclair. We last saw Enid transformed and unable to change back, leaving Nevermore and those she knew behind.
Aside from the Eiffel Tower visible in the background and the partially visible creature beside her, the latest picture doesn’t reveal much about what’s coming in Season 3.
