Geoff Huegill’s Stunning Transformation: Shirtless and Toned at Bondi Beach!

On a family outing at Bondi Beach on Tuesday, Geoff Huegill confidently displayed his well-defined body without a shirt on.

The Australian swimmer, now 45 years old, seldom appears in public these days following his retreat from the limelight over the past few years since relocating to Singapore.

On a delightful excursion with his kids – Gigi (12), Milla (10), and Rafe (3) – he seemed to be in high spirits, frequently grinning and chuckling throughout the day.

In a pair of black swim shorts, Geoff – without a shirt – showcased his toned physique, the result of his weight loss over the past few years.

He shielded his eyes with a pair of reflective shades and wore a sporty watch.

The dual Olympic athlete was just as loving as any father could be, as he playfully built sandcastles alongside his son Rafe and then gently guided him through the waves of the ocean for a fun-filled swim.

Geoff is joint parent to Rafe and an unnamed son, along with his partner Roxan Toll. He also has two daughters from his previous marriage with Sara Hills.

In the last few years, Geoff moved to Singapore alongside Roxan, a tech executive. At the moment, he’s taking a break to spend time with his children in Australia.

In 2019, he began dating Roxan, a lawyer who had been trained, and they became parents to Rafe in 2021. Later, in 2023, they welcomed their second son into the family.

Approximately a year later, the couple started dating following Geoff’s separation from his first spouse, Sara, after several challenging years.

In 2014, it was notoriously discovered that Geoff and Sara had a minor amount of cocaine on them at the Royal Randwick Racecourse.

Both pleaded guilty to drug possession and were handed six-month good behaviour bonds.

The scandal marked the start of their downfall, as they managed to evade legal penalties, but ultimately chose to part ways in 2018.

Last July, Geoff looked back on a tumultuous ten years of his life and shared the story of how he reached his lowest point after the cocaine episode, ultimately choosing to live a sober lifestyle.

Speaking on SBS’s Insight, he expressed that choosing a life of sobriety was among the most beneficial decisions he ever made. The topic discussed therein was the concept of ‘second chances’.

He shared that the cocaine incident severely strained his marriage with Sara and negatively impacted his professional life.

He stated that he had lost financial supporters, job prospects, and was in the process of establishing various ventures. Regrettably, due to these circumstances, he had to shut down all of his businesses.

Regrettably, my marriage ended. A variety of other circumstances contributed to its failure.

Only when one’s life comes under scrutiny do people tend to handle stress in specific manners, which can be challenging indeed.

‘What I realised, at the end of the day, is that I can only control what I can control.’ 

Following his sobriety, he mentioned that his fresh perspective on life led to his eventual diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), a condition that impacts an individual’s capacity for concentration.

Obtaining a confirmed diagnosis gave Geoff clarity about himself, helping him comprehend certain errors he’d committed in the past.

He mentioned that his exceptional commitment to competitive swimming made him feel distinct all along, yet one of the difficulties he encountered during retirement was acknowledging that despite his achievements in certain aspects of his life, there were other areas where he didn’t measure up as well.

‘The wave of emotions I had to go through after the diagnosis,’ he said.

‘I found myself thinking, “Why hadn’t I seen this before?”, as it turns out to be one of the finest choices I’ve ever made.’
