The hit anime film, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, is now available to own on Blu-ray and DVD after its successful run in cinemas. Those who didn’t get a chance to see it in theaters, or want to experience it again, can look forward to owning the movie with bonus features and special editions.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle sets physical release date
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle will be available on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan starting July 29, 2026. This release follows the film’s successful theatrical run, where it became a record-breaking anime hit (according to Collider).
Besides the regular version, a special edition is coming soon. This limited release features new artwork by Akihiro Matsushima, extra discs, and a collectible booklet. Select stores in Japan will also have exclusive items like prints and merchandise related to the movie. A new trailer is out now, giving fans a preview of everything included in these editions.
The movie picks up right where Season 4 left off, with Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayers entering the Infinity Castle. Inside, they confront Muzan and his strongest demons in a battle that covers a large part of the manga’s final arc. Although this film handles a significant portion of the ending, it seems two more movies are planned to complete the story.
The film has been a big success, earning high marks from both critics and audiences. It boasts a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an “A” grade from CinemaScore, indicating strong audience enjoyment. While some reviewers thought the story would have worked better as a series of separate episodes, most praised its impressive animation and exciting action. Overall, the film has clearly resonated with viewers, who are already asking for more.
Currently, we don’t know when the show will be available for streaming outside of Japan. However, with a physical copy on the way, fans now have a guaranteed way to revisit this major anime film.
