NetEase has revealed an array of future content for the game Naraka: Bladepoint, such as events tailored for the Chinese New Year and a Spring Festival update. This upcoming update will feature a new character named Lannie, the ‘Creation of Heaven and Earth’ treasure box, and numerous live-ops.
As a devotee, I’d rephrase it this way: Acrobat extraordinaire Lannie, gifted in the art of illusion, has been haunted by a grim twist of fate – the untimely demise of those dear to her, including her beloved parents. However, she was miraculously saved and nurtured under the guidance of a celestial observer. Raised on the enchanting Morus Isle, Lannie is determined to rewrite her destiny by seizing the Mask of Eternal Life.
As a dedicated fan, I’d put it this way: I’ve got a magical fabric in my hands that pushes adversaries back and allows me to vanish unnoticed, jump swiftly, and launch attacks sending foes flying high. I can even summon a tricky silk ball as my ultimate move, smashing and striking with immense power using Mighty Smash and Aerial Strike!
Regarding the freshly designed treasure chest, it takes its cue from the ancient tale of Pangu who separated disorder to create the universe. Inside, you’ll find a novel lineup called Star-Collections, boasting intriguing items like Zai’s Extraordinary Attire, the Legendary Bow Skin, and additional collections including Lannie’s Extraordinary Attire. Each piece showcases vibrant Chinese New Year motifs.
During Spring Festival, various activities take place, such as the Wishing Event where players can journey to Fairyland Penglai to make wishes to the deity residing there, collecting special in-game items as a result. Additionally, there are daily login bonuses and opportunities to receive red envelopes for additional rewards.
Currently, Lannie and the Spring Festival are actively participating in Naraka: Bladepoint. Meanwhile, a joint project with The King of Fighters is forthcoming, offering crossover characters and costumes such as Athena teaming up with Kurumi, Shermie joining forces with Viper Ning, Mai Shiranui pairing with Matari, and Iori Yagami partnering with Akos Hu.
