Marvel Rivals to Add New Hero Every Six Weeks

Every six weeks, a fresh hero from Marvel’s expansive comic book universe will join the cast of the action-packed game known as “Marvel Rivals“, which revolves around superheroes with shooting abilities.

According to a recent interview with Metro, the game’s director, Guangyun Chen, revealed that they will be introducing new seasonal narratives, maps, and characters each season.

As a gamer, here’s how I might put it: “I’m splitting each gaming season into two parts, with each season lasting a solid three months. To keep things fresh, I’ll be introducing a brand-new character at the start of each half, so you can experience new gameplay and strategies!

Our aim is to consistently improve the experience for all members and maintain enthusiasm within our community.

It seems that the season features Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic during the initial phase, followed by Human Torch and The Thing in the later stages. Additionally, Chen discussed how the game’s developer, NetEase, makes decisions about which characters to incorporate within the game.

He mentioned that our selection of heroes is influenced by the total gaming experience or the theme we aim to establish for each season.

Our team thinks that having a diverse range of options for strategic gameplay or character selection is beneficial. Increasing the number of Duelists right now would undoubtedly make the Duelist mode more engaging, allowing players to explore and delve further into this particular feature.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve got to say that Marvel Rivals has truly taken the world by storm! If you haven’t already, be sure to dive into our list of top games for the year – it even earned a spot as the best multiplayer experience.
