I’m SO excited! 20th Century Studios just dropped the final trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 and it looks amazing! Seriously, everyone is back – Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, and even David Frankel is directing again. From what I’ve seen, the story picks up with Andy returning to Runway while Miranda is dealing with a huge scandal. And get this – Emily’s now running a major fashion brand that could actually save Runway! I can’t wait!

The newest trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 gives a better look at what the movie is about. It also introduced the film’s new song, “Runway,” a collaboration between Lady Gaga and Doechii. You can buy tickets for The Devil Wears Prada 2 now. Check out the final trailer below!

The film’s cast is expanding with some exciting new additions! Kenneth Branagh and Justin Theroux will play the husbands of Miranda Priestley and Emily Charlton. Patrick Brammall, known from the show Evil, will play Andy’s new boyfriend, and Simone Ashley from Bridgerton has landed a significant role. Plus, Lady Gaga will not only contribute a song to the soundtrack, but she’ll also make a cameo appearance alongside Lucy Liu, Ashley Graham, Sydney Sweeney, and Rachel Bloom.

A sequel to The Devil Wears Prada is coming to theaters almost 20 years after the first film premiered on June 30, 2006. The original Devil Wears Prada was a huge success, earning $326.7 million globally on a $41 million budget, and was well-received by critics. Meryl Streep’s performance as Miranda Priestly was particularly praised, earning her an Academy Award nomination, a BAFTA nomination, a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination, and a Golden Globe win for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical.

Following the success of the original and fueled by twenty years of fond memories, Disney and 20th Century Studios are expecting a lot from The Devil Wears Prada 2. Disney scheduled the film for the first weekend of May to start the summer movie season, a spot that became available when Avengers: Doomsday was pushed back to December 18, 2026. Industry tracker Box Office Pro predicts the movie could earn between $80 and $95 million during its opening weekend. If it reaches the higher end of that estimate, it would be the second-biggest opening weekend of 2026, exceeding Project Hail Mary and only trailing The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
