Daredevil: Born Again confirms a major theory.

The second season of Daredevil: Born Again centers on Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock building a team to secretly battle Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin and reclaim control of New York City from Mayor Fisk. He’s receiving assistance from characters like Karen Page and Jack Duquesne (Swordsman), and will be joined by at least one more character from another Marvel television series.

Krysten Ritter will be playing Jessica Jones, and she hasn’t been seen in any of the Marvel shows yet. While Marvel has been teasing her appearance in trailers for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, the latest footage revealed something completely unexpected.

As a huge Marvel fan, I was really excited to see the new trailer for Daredevil: Born Again! It’s official now – Jessica Jones is a mom, which is a cool development. But the biggest surprise? The trailer ended with our first glimpse of Jon Bernthal returning as Frank Castle in what looks like The Punisher: One Last Kill. Seriously, seeing Punisher again gave me chills!

A new trailer for the Marvel series reveals Jessica mentioning that “They showed up at my house with my daughter there,” though her daughter isn’t seen in the trailer. The trailer also features a fight scene with Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) and shows Jon Bernthal’s Punisher with a fresh appearance, firing a gun directly at the camera. This new installment, The Punisher: One Last Kill, will be available on Disney+ starting May 12th.
