‘Nude’ artist Dina Broadhurst pulls $11.5million home she owns with her ex Max Shepherd from the market – after THAT beach reunion
Dina Broadhurst and Max Shepherd, their former romantic partner, have taken their shared $11.5 million property in Sydney off the real estate market.
In June 2023, the ex-partners decided to go their own paths and listed their spacious three-bedroom apartment in Darling Point for sale in November.
Previously separated individuals caused quite a stir as they reconnected at Kutti Beach, with Dina opting not to wear a top, and both of them collaborating in their search for a prospective buyer for the property.
Dina shared with Daily Mail Australia that she removed a luxurious property located in the eastern suburbs from sale about two months back, as she is yet undecided if she wishes to retain it.
She mentioned that the property was temporarily off the market because she was contemplating keeping it for personal use, following speculation in The Daily Telegraph about her difficulty in finding a buyer due to her age of 48 years.
Dina mentioned that she’s giving this place a try for the summer,” she said. “She wants to see if she’ll decide to stay or look for something abroad next year instead.
On Saturday evening, Dina transformed her bedroom and living room into a runway, donning a beige corset and low-slung jeans for a personal photo session, highlighting the elegantly arranged interior of her home.
On Saturday afternoon, the ‘nude artist’ had a conversation with the newspaper regarding the ‘inaccurate reports’ they published, explaining that these inaccuracies were extremely harmful to the value of her apartment since the information was false.
She informed Daily Mail that the property has generated significant attention, and a choice will soon be made about whether to continue with the sale or not.
The Instagram post she shared, showcasing over a dozen pictures of the eastern suburbs property she owns, rapidly spread across social media platforms. Her 368,000 followers were eager to know which dining table and chairs, living room sculpture, and marble countertop (‘arabescato’) she used in her home.
The recently refurbished property was taken off the market merely two months following its listing, a month prior to its scheduled auction date.
If Dina chooses to move within the next three weeks, real estate agents Josh Allen and Ryan Rubinstein, along with David Malouf from Highland Double Bay Malouf, plan to re-list the property.
There’s uncertainty about whether the current price will hold, but some experts speculate that it might decrease from its current level of $11.5 million.
The removed online advertisement mentioned: ‘The recently constructed home boasts a spacious design and customized interior, offering approximately 280 square meters of combined indoor-outdoor living space that leads to a sunlit garden with stunning vistas of Double Bay, Redleaf Pool, and Seven Shillings Beach.’
The apartment is situated on the ground floor of a grand two-story house, which can be accessed directly from both the garage and the street, in an exclusive, tree-filled neighborhood location within Darling Point.
In the year 2022, Dina and real estate professional Max, aged 31, purchased a luxurious two-bathroom apartment worth $5.2 million.
Following a significant remodeling project, they advertised the previously shared romantic hideaway, spanning 280 square meters, for sale in November.
The construction process lasted for two years, including a full renovation of the interior, yet it wasn’t intended to serve as the couple’s permanent residence.
Located a mere 3kms from the CBD, the property features stunning views of nearby Double Bay.
Key features encompass expansive living areas, lofty ceilings, an integrated wine cellar, leisure zone, mixology station, and considerate open-concept layout leading to a secluded outdoor garden.
In the past few weeks, speculation has arisen about their relationship while attempting to sell the property, as they were seen enjoying a casual day at the beach together.
Dina went to Kutti Beach, which is about a 30-minute ride away from their high-end apartment, for a relaxing sunbathing session with Max and another female companion.
That hot afternoon, Dina removed her red bikini top, revealing much with just a pair of tie-side bottoms, due to the intense heat.
Upon being asked about their surprising encounter, Dina and Max expressed that they have maintained a strong friendship and are collaborating to put their shared property on the market.
Dina shared with Daily Mail Australia, “We’re close friends and collaborate on business ventures,” and Max chimed in, “Right now, we’re simply friends who are co-selling a property.
In the summer of 2023, I found myself parting ways with Dina, my partner who had been by my side for five years since we began our journey together in 2018. We were two individuals, separated by a span of fifteen years, but our connection was profound and enduring.

Afterwards, Max jetted off to Europe to nurse his broken heart on several luxury superyachts.
In February 2023, it was last seen that Max had posted something on Dina’s social media platforms. The most recent post of Dina by Max was made in December 2022.
Since then, Max has been in a relationship with actress Vail Bloom, who is 40 years old, from the series Vanderpump Rules. The duo made their romantic involvement known to the public in November of 2023.
Max frequently travels to the U.S. to be with his girlfriend, yet he’s recently stayed in Australia, focusing on selling his property in Sydney.
Actress Vail, famously recognized from The Young and the Restless, is a mother of two boys – Jack, who is 4 years old, and Charlie, aged 5 – from her past relationship.
In early 2024, Dina began a relationship with millionaire refrigerator heir John Winning Jr., having been acquainted with him for a while beforehand.
However, after eight months together, the art collector found that their lifestyle choices were incongruous.
They parted ways at the beginning of December, mere hours prior to when Dina took center stage for her solo performance at Bernadette Fahey’s wedding.
Dina and John Jr. have since unfollowed each other on Instagram.
