Channel Seven star Kendall Gilding teases TV return after shocking fans by quitting the network
Kendall Gilding hints at a significant comeback on television, surprising viewers following her departure from Channel Seven.
In December 2023, the television host, aged 32, decided to leave the broadcasting network after 12 years to concentrate fully on her career as a social media personality and newspaper columnist.

On Friday, Kendall announced on Instagram that her aim is to reappear on television screens by 2025, detailing her professional ambitions during a Q&A interaction.
When a fan inquired about her New Year’s ambitions, Kendall answered by expressing her desire to take on more television projects during the upcoming year.

Additionally, Kendall shared details about another significant shift in her professional life – she aims to enroll in a renowned leadership program designed for high-level executives and board members.
She mentioned that she aims to complete her program at the prestigious Australian Institute of Company Directors, an institution known for enhancing the abilities of seasoned board members.

2011 saw Kendall kick off her journalism journey at Brisbane’s 96five Family Radio as a presenter. Later in the same year, she joined forces with Seven.
For 12 years, the well-known news presenter had been a familiar sight on Channel Seven. However, she made an unexpected move by resigning from her position in December 2023, which was quite a drastic decision.

A few days prior to Christmas, Kendall endured a significant personal hardship when her husband, Timothy, sustained a fractured spine in a distressing incident at the beach.
At Burleigh Beach in Queensland, Tim sustained severe injuries when a powerful wave pushed him onto a sandbar.
Emergency responders transported him to the hospital while wearing a neck brace, and at first, medical professionals were concerned he might not be able to walk. Throughout his healing process, Kendall shared updates about his progress via social media.
After being released from the hospital, Tim is currently using a full upper body brace due to an injury. He will be going back to the hospital shortly for a follow-up examination to assess the progress of his C6 and C7 vertebrae healing.
On Friday’s update, Kendall explained that Tim has been enduring pain due to his injury and has had a persistent cough for about four weeks now.
‘He wears a full upper body brace 24/7 including for showers and sleep,’ she shared.
He has difficulty getting comfortable while sleeping as he must lie flat on his back, an arrangement that proves quite uneasy for him. To add to his discomfort, he’s been battling a persistent cough for a month now, which has significantly affected the overall quality of his life.
He currently finds himself unable to fetch the children due to not being able to drive, neither can he operate his cherished lawnmower. However, this is just a temporary phase, and soon enough, life will revert back to its usual rhythm!
In a heart-wrenching social media post on Instagram at the moment of the unfortunate incident, I shared the grave condition of my dear friend, Tim, with great sorrow and concern.
Over the weekend, we visited Burleigh Beach for a brief dip before saying goodbye. It was just a short, 10-minute excursion, as she relayed.
Tim had a rough encounter with a powerful wave that sent him face-first into a sandbar. The events following were just as distressing, as he began to lose consciousness on the beach. Thankfully, the lifeguards were there to help!
