Warcraft Rumble PvP rework

Starting on January 9th, the Warcraft Rumble team unveiled a revamp for their PvP system within the game. Of particular interest is that the previous Honor rewards have been renamed as Victory Road rewards. As a result, players can no longer accumulate these rewards through Honor points. Instead, they can now be obtained by amassing Victory Points.

What are Victory Points in Warcraft Rumble?

In Warcraft Rumble, you accumulate Victory Points by participating in Player versus Player battles, whether you emerge victorious or not. Nonetheless, winning and consecutive wins will garner you more of this in-game currency. It’s important to note that these Victory Points are refreshed at the start of each new Warcraft Rumble season.

Warcraft Rumble Honor explained

In the meantime, Honor persists. It categorizes players according to their individual Honor levels. At the conclusion of each season, players receive their final placement in the ranks along with their corresponding rewards.

Apart from the fresh additions, Top Rank 1 and Top Rank 100, it’s important to note that these specific new rankings cannot be monitored within the game at present. However, our developers are working on incorporating this feature in an upcoming update. Ranks beyond position 100 can still be traced using the existing Honor rank system within the game.

In simpler terms, the developers stated that the Honor rating system has been streamlined, now allowing all leaders to influence the Honor score rather than just one leader. Additionally, there will be no more matchmaking decisions based on the chosen leader.

Regarding additional adjustments, the duration of Player versus Player matches has been reduced from 3 minutes and 30 seconds to just 2 minutes. However, overtime still lasts for a minute.
