ZeniMax Online Studios is hosting a special ESO Direct event to reveal details about the upcoming Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk and share a preview of future seasons planned for this year. Viewers can also earn rewards through Twitch Drops during the broadcast.
Season Zero kicks off a new chapter for The Elder Scrolls Online, bringing fresh areas to explore, new stories to follow, and plenty of activities and customization options. It also includes significant improvements to the overall game. Simply put, it’s a major update with a lot to offer players.
If you’re planning to play Elder Scrolls Online as soon as the new season starts, you can get free in-game rewards by watching on Twitch. If you’re not sure how Twitch Drops work, or need a reminder, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a guide on how to claim the free rewards for ESO Direct Seasons.
What are ESO Direct Twitch Drops?
The upcoming ESO Direct Twitch Drops include the following rewards:
| Time Watched | ESO Direct Twitch Drops |
| 15 minutes | x1 Ouroboros Crown Crate |
| 30 minutes | x3 Ouroboros Crown Crates |
| 45 minutes | x5 Ouroboros Crown Crates |
Ouroboros Crown Crates are like mystery boxes that give you random in-game goodies. These can include things like experience boosts, potions, and materials for crafting, and you might even find mounts or pets inside!
How to claim ESO Direct Twitch Drops
To get ESO Direct Twitch Drops, you’ll first need to connect your ESO and Twitch accounts. Here’s how to do it:
- Head to ESO’s website.
- Look for the Account section.
- Select Twitch from ‘Linked Accounts’.
- Enter and save your Twitch credentials.
If you update your Twitch password after connecting it to your account, you might need to reconnect it. Once your Twitch and Elder Scrolls Online accounts are linked, go to Twitch.tv/Bethesda and begin watching the ESO Direct stream.
You can check how close you are to earning rewards in the Drops section on Twitch. Remember to claim each reward individually before you start playing. When you launch ESO, you’ll find your Ouroboros Crown Crates in the Crown Crates menu. That’s all there is to it!
The next ESO Season showcase begins on March 31, 2026, at 3pm Eastern Time, 12pm Pacific Time, or 8pm British Summer Time. Don’t worry if you miss the initial announcements – Zenimax will also be offering rewards through Twitch Drops during every showcase.
