Jelly Roll’s wife Bunnie XO says Deadpool Killer Wade Wilson ‘threatened’ her in chilling call from jail
As a seasoned broadcaster with years of experience under my belt, I’ve learned that empathy is key to understanding different perspectives. However, I must admit, I made a misstep when expressing curiosity about a notorious killer like Wilson. My intention was never to glorify him, but rather to delve into the psyche of such individuals who commit heinous crimes.
In a surprising turn on TikTok, Deadpool’s alter ego, Wade Wilson, allegedly intimidated Bunnie XO, Jelly Roll’s wife, when she received numerous contacts from women, who had been given her number by him.
As an ardent admirer, let me share my findings: Upon engaging in discussions with a notorious double murderer confined on Florida’s death row for a proposed documentary series, I unwittingly found myself inadvertently disclosing my personal phone number to a handful of ladies – approximately four or five.
During the October 21st edition of her Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie aired phone conversations with Wilson that clearly showed him disclosing her contact information.
In their conversation, she mentioned that following their initial phone call, Wade felt responsible for sharing her phone number with various unknown women. This was causing her a great deal of annoyance due to the resulting chaos.
Bunnie expressed that she contacted his girlfriend because she was feeling annoyed after getting unwanted phone calls and messages from unknown females.
On the call Wade blasted Bunnie for comments made about him by her to his fans.
He said: ‘What was the comment that you made online? I literally have a picture of it and it says something to the effect of, ‘I need to show these people something about the red flags and warning signs.'”
Bunnie said ‘things are being taken out of context’ and said she had called Wade once and emailed.
In response to their comments, she stated: “They asked, ‘Why did you talk to Wade Wilson?’ To which I replied, ‘I wanted to show women the red flags and warning signs of someone who is as charismatic as he is. I don’t see anything problematic about it.’
Wade said: ‘You think I’m infatuated with talking to you? Like it’s a big deal to me?’
In addition, Bunnie asserted that Wilson subtly hinted at threats during their conversation, alluding to her husband, Jelly Roll’s previous brush with law, stating: “He seems to be implying he’s acquainted with the same individuals as my spouse.
In the conversation, Wade expresses: ‘It’s clear to us both that there’s something we understand without needing to state it explicitly. And I won’t bother mentioning it because it’s obvious. To put it simply, I couldn’t care less about anything. Just as you are aware, I have limited knowledge about your origins or the identities of the people around you.’
To be honest, I can’t say for certain, but what I am confident about is this: we both likely have acquaintances, possibly overlapping ones. And regardless, everyone has a history behind them.
I’m referring to someone who, instead of dealing drugs, is now speaking up against it. Let’s focus on the genuine individuals, buddy, not those matters.
As a devoted follower, let me express that his words resonated deeply with me, yet I made a conscious decision not to engage, for I will never allow anyone to intimidate me.
In June, Bunnie faced criticism from fans when he expressed enthusiasm about visiting a prison to interview Wade, suggesting, “Wouldn’t that be amazing if I could go inside and have a chat with him for a podcast?
I’ve come to regret my initial feelings and admit: ‘Now, I find myself feeling remorseful for showing any compassion towards anyone other than the victims in this situation.’
I strive to understand all perspectives of a situation, but in this case, I was unaware of the full story, which led me to speak prematurely, as I lacked crucial details.
It’s been clear over a prolonged period that my actions weren’t meant to elevate someone, as those who have been with me for a while can attest.
It’s natural and acceptable for someone to be intrigued about why a criminal acts in such a violent manner, as there are numerous individuals with similar interests in true crimes and serial killers often grant interviews. However, showing sensitivity towards the feelings of the victims’ loved ones is crucial; indifference or insensitivity towards them would indeed make one an inconsiderate person.

Last August, Wilson, aged 30 and named after the Marvel character, remained expressionless when Judge Nicholas R Thompson of Florida County Circuit Court announced that he would be sentenced to death twice – once for each murder he committed against Kristine Melton, 35, and Diane Ruiz, 43.
Previously, Wilson was found guilty in June for four charges: two of first-degree murder and two of premeditated first-degree murder. These charges were related to the deaths of two women who he had strangled within a short timeframe on October 6, 2019, in Cape Coral.
On October 6, 2019, around midday, Wilson allegedly initiated a series of murders that started when he encountered Melton at a lively music venue and subsequently left with her for home.
The following day, Wilson choked her to lifelessness within her Cape Coral, Florida residence. Her corpse was discovered thereafter.
On the very same day, it was reported that Ruiz went missing following an encounter with Wilson, who had approached her for directions during her commute to work.
He had taken Melton’s car after killing her, and later, Ruiz entered the vehicle before she too was choked to death while riding in it.
According to Wilson’s father’s statement, he drove over her repeatedly, leaving her looking like cooked spaghetti. Three days later, the body of Ruiz was discovered in a field behind a Sam’s Club.
Additionally, the perpetrator took control of Melton’s vehicle and proceeded to Fort Myers where he assaulted Melissa Montanez, who used to be his girlfriend.
Since then, he’s adorned various tattoos on his face, which include several swastikas, ominous Joker-style mouth designs, and a neck inscription that reads: ‘Born for war.’
