MindsEye, the Upcoming Action Game From Ex-Rockstar and GTA Director's Studio, to Be Published By IO

As a seasoned gamer with years of immersion in the vast digital landscapes crafted by industry veterans, I am thrilled to learn about IO Interactive stepping into the role of publisher for Build A Rocket Boy’s upcoming masterpiece, ‘MindsEye‘. With Leslie Benzies, a former Rockstar Games luminary and Grand Theft Auto director, at the helm, it’s clear that we’re in for a rollercoaster ride of epic proportions.

IO Interactive, known for its work on Hitman series, has declared that they will be both the publisher and distributor for ‘MindsEye’, an upcoming high-quality action-adventure game developed by Build A Rocket Boy studio.

Established by a seasoned video game industry professional, Leslie Benzies (formerly with Rockstar Games and director of Grand Theft Auto), Build A Rocket Boy is set to collaborate with IO Interactive, utilizing their expertise in areas such as publishing, marketing, distribution, quality assurance, and post-launch support. This marks the beginning of a publishing partnership for Build A Rocket Boy, which previously demonstrated its self-publishing prowess by releasing Hitman: World of Assassination after parting ways with Square Enix.

Since its inception, Build A Rocket Boy Studios has been dedicated to developing captivating games of the future and providing top-notch entertainment experiences. Game Director Benzies eagerly announced that we will soon unveil our first AAA premium game, MindsEye, along with an expanding universe, to the global community.

We couldn’t ask for a better collaborator than IO Interactive for our debut project. Their deep knowledge of community trends, exceptional action-adventure games, and top-notch publishing team make us incredibly excited about working together as we embark on this new blockbuster venture.

In this story, you take on the character of Jacob Diaz, a former soldier who once served but now grapples with amnesia and recurring flashbacks due to an unusual brain implant. As Diaz, you are thrust into a succession of perilous undercover assignments to unravel the mysteries concealed in your lost past. Along the way, you become enmeshed in a realm teeming with artificial intelligence, clandestine tech projects, corporate intrigue, political deceit, and a rogue military force.

The announcement reveals that MindsEye offers an immersive journey featuring a captivating and mind-twisting storyline, detailed settings, innovative battle mechanics, advanced technology, and thrilling car pursuits. Although a launch date hasn’t been set, it seems this game could be right up our alley.
