A fan pointed out that a crucial conversation between Dunk and Steely Pate – where Pate describes a knight as someone who “remembered his vows” – was left out of the show. Parker responded by taking responsibility, saying, “Honestly, it was a mistake on my part. I’ve made a few on this show, and I probably will again.” He explained that the scene had been included in earlier versions of the script but was ultimately cut.
