New Skeleton Crew characters revealed in merchandise leak

As a seasoned Star Wars gamer with memories of waiting for hours outside toy stores to grab the latest action figure, the constant leaks of merchandise for Skeleton Crew have become a bit of a double-edged sword. On one hand, it’s thrilling to get sneak peeks at new characters and plot details before the show even airs. On the other hand, I can’t help but feel like I’ve already seen half the series by the time December rolls around!

In terms of the Skeleton Crew series, it’s become customary that information about upcoming merchandise tends to leak out early. The most recent example is no different, providing a clearer image of an existing character and introducing a brand-new one to us.

According to Star Wars Meg on Twitter, a portion of the Bag Clip series provides fans with a closer view and the name of an alien character glimpsed in the initial trailer. This creature resembles an owl and goes by the name “Kim.” Another fresh character has emerged, sharing the same species as Neel, the blue-elephant main character. The leak suggests that this new character is called “Jorka,” but it’s uncertain yet how Jorka may be connected to Neel.

Upon examining the complete release of Star Wars Bag Clips, something intriguing caught my attention. It turns out that the Shistavanen pirate, also known as the Wolf Man and Brutus, who was initially unveiled at D23 in 2024 and later appeared in official images, is part of this round of merchandise. What grabbed my curiosity is his title, “Pirate Captain.

What makes this intriguing to me is the absence of certain characters from this roster. For quite some time, it was revealed that Vane, the Nikto pirate from Season 3 of “The Mandalorian,” would play a significant role in this series. Yet, surprisingly, he’s nowhere to be found in this merchandise collection. Furthermore, his absence indicates that he is not the captain of this crew, instead holding a subordinate position within their group.

This trend has given us glimpses of the young main characters, their names, and even the name of Jude Law’s Jedi character.
