Kate Moss ‘supports new movie which sees her snort cocaine and visit sex clubs in closest she has ever got to confessing her racy past’

Sources say Kate Moss supports the new film Moss & Freud, which depicts her wild younger days, including her experiences with drugs and nightlife.

The movie features Ellie Bamber portraying the supermodel, age 52, who also served as an executive producer. The film tells the story of the surprising connection between her and the artist Lucian Freud.

I couldn’t believe my eyes! There she was, or… someone who looked exactly like her, doing… terrible things. Snorting something, dragging her driver – practically naked! – into this awful club in London. And then… a car crash? It was almost fatal! I was horrified, absolutely horrified. It felt like watching my idol self-destruct, even though it wasn’t really her… was it?

Kate became widely known as ‘Cocaine Kate’ after photos surfaced in 2005 showing her using cocaine. However, she has since changed her lifestyle and now prioritizes a healthy, drug-free life.

People are saying the model’s strong endorsement of the film feels like a rare admission about her previously adventurous life.

I’ve been a huge supporter of this movie since the very beginning. I’ve always been happy to offer my thoughts and help the team bring their vision to life – it’s been amazing to watch it all come together!

Okay, so I’ve been following this closely, and it’s HUGE. Kate has definitely seen everything – the stuff they were worried about showing? She not only approved it staying in, but she’s still fully supporting the people making the show! Honestly, it’s the closest she’s ever come to admitting some of the wilder, more exciting things she’s done. I’m telling you, this is a game changer!

They also explained to The Sun that while the show claims to be based on a true story, it doesn’t necessarily present the complete and accurate truth.

Daily Mail have contacted Kate Moss’ representatives for comment.

Derek Jacobi plays Lucian in the film. The trailer begins with the main characters in an art gallery, where Lucian first suggests painting Kate.

Once she agreed to the concept, the atmospheric and glamorous teaser showed the ups and downs of their relationship, depicting both heated arguments about her commitment to their work and moments of joyful laughter.

Derek, as Lucian, asks Kate if she could picture anything more lovely, suggesting a painting. He acknowledges her busy schedule, but asks if she might have time for it. Kate responds positively, saying she appreciates the concept and agrees to do it: ‘Lucien, I like the idea of truth.’

The famous photograph shows a nude Kate Moss, then 28 years old, while she was pregnant with her daughter, Lila, born to her and Jefferson Hack.

The painting, created by 80-year-old Lucian (who was 52 years her senior), presented a strikingly intimate and unfiltered portrait of Kate, unlike anything she had done before.

The trailer hints at how Lucian creates his art and the intense process involved. It shows him telling Kate he needs her complete dedication if he’s going to paint her, and later, becoming angry when she misses their scheduled painting sessions.

He stood before his canvas and shouted, ‘You’re late! Do you think this is a joke? All I ask is for three evenings a week, and I expect you to be on time!’

You know, when people talk about my work and the teams I collaborate with, I always feel it’s important to clarify something. I recently pointed out some magazine photos of myself and said, ‘These aren’t just one-off projects, these are people I’ve built real, lasting relationships with!’ It’s about recognizing the incredible partnerships with designers and photographers I’ve been lucky enough to have over the years.

She wonders if a painter should create art solely for their own enjoyment, then questions if that’s her purpose – to simply be used by others.

A short video shows the pair dancing at a recreation of Kate’s famous 30th birthday party. The original party, held at the Claridge’s hotel in 2004, was themed around F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, The Beautiful and Damned.

The movie received a mixed reaction when it first came out in October, but it will be released to more theaters next month.

Lucian’s portrait of Kate was a huge success, selling for an impressive £3.9 million at auction in 2005.

Lucian and Kate formed a special friendship, and Kate later said he was the most fascinating person she’d ever known.

Their close connection has led many to wonder if their relationship went beyond friendship.

The German painter, best known for his contemporary portrait of The Queen in 2001 – a painting often compared to a selfie – died over ten years ago at the age of 88.

Moss & Freud delves into the life and work of the artist, with a particular emphasis on how the iconic 90s figure became his inspiration.

Kate became a prominent model in the early 1990s, becoming one of the industry’s biggest stars alongside Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, and Linda Evangelista.

Lucian Freud, born in Berlin in 1922, was a well-known painter and artist who focused on painting people. He became famous for his portraits of those close to him – friends, family, and lovers – and is considered one of the most important portrait artists of 20th-century England.
