Furthermore, we’ll be wrapping up a mini-series, offering plenty to discuss and look forward to.

Let’s dive into This Week in Star Wars Comics!

Battle of Jakku — Insurgency Rising #1

In the aftermath of the Battle of Endor, the Empire didn’t completely disintegrate and instead, the young New Republic found itself facing immediate threats. The remnants of the Empire continued to pose a significant danger, acting as a formidable adversary against the new government. This remaining faction also has intriguing connections to Darth Vader that are yet to be revealed. Additionally, a menacing organization known as the Acolytes of the Beyond surfaced. Together, these events mark the beginning of the post-Return of the Jedi period, ushering in a wave of new challenges and mysteries.

Inquisitors #4

The renegade Jedi known as Tensu Run has been causing quite a nuisance for the Inquisitorious, the dark side’s enforcers. Having reluctantly taken up the mantle of a hero and beacon of hope, despite his initial resistance to it, he has already vanquished several inquisitors. Now, it seems that even Darth Vader must step in. The question remains: will Tensu Run succumb to the dark side for the sake of the future of the Jedi or stay true to the Light?

The fourth installment of the miniseries titled “Inquisitors” serves as its conclusion. This issue is penned by Rodney Barnes, features illustrations by Ramon Rosanas, and the cover artistry is credited to Nick Bradshaw.
