Elizabeth Olsen addresses MCU return as Scarlet Witch

As a gamer who has spent countless hours immersed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), I can say with confidence that the return of Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch is a move that would send shockwaves through the gaming community, and not just because of her formidable powers.

Elizabeth Olsen has hinted at a potential comeback for her role as the Scarlet Witch within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the year 2022, the actor portrayed the character in the movie “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” However, there hasn’t been any clear sign yet that she will reprise her role, especially since the ending left her destiny uncertain.

In a recent chat with FM104, Olsen expressed that she’d be happy to revisit the character if there’s a suitable opportunity. She feels fortunate that her role in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” was utilized effectively.

She went on to say, “For a moment, I believe everyone was unsure about how to use my character effectively. But later, they managed to make good use of it in intriguing and innovative storytelling methods, which they hadn’t explored before.

If there’s a beneficial way to utilize her, I would gladly return, even if it requires some explanation for clarity.

Last year, Olsen expressed that if her character were to reappear, he’d prefer her to exhibit a greater amount of humor compared to her previous portrayal.

She expressed to ScreenRant that they can explore new possibilities with her now. She feels they’ve achieved quite a bit, and now they can truly enjoy themselves. There seems to be plenty of room for additional humor in what they do next with her.

She usually embodies the emotional core of a tale, and I’m eager to discover what dimensions we can uncover. Perhaps, we could also provide her with a chance for vindication.

Additionally, the actress had earlier mentioned her willingness to reprise her role in the upcoming spin-off series titled “Agatha All Along,” a continuation of “WandaVision,” set to debut towards the end of this month.

Yet, a recently released preview hints at the possibility of Wanda’s demise; it’s uncertain if this is definitive or just a speculation for now.

Agatha’s new series, “Agatha All Along,” begins airing its initial two episodes on Wednesday, September 18, exclusively on Disney+. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly thereafter.
