Drake’s NOCTA Manor: A Masterclass in Brand Visibility

Honestly, I never thought I’d see Drake hanging out in suburban New Jersey for a whole week! But that’s just classic Drake – he always manages to do the unexpected and totally throws everyone for a loop.

Just a day after the FIFA World Cup Finals in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the rapper traveled approximately 40 miles west to Somerset County, New Jersey. There, he hosted his second annual NOCTA Manor retreat at the expansive Pendry Natirar estate, which covers around 500 acres.

Building on the themes of rest, relaxation, and enjoyment, Drake’s NOCTA Manor event is back with a new location. The first NOCTA Manor happened almost a year prior in Windsor, England, in July 2025, immediately after Drake’s hugely successful three-night performance at the Wireless Festival.

This week’s relaxation and celebration had two main focuses. First, the World Cup Finals were happening nearby. Second, it was a chance to celebrate the recent release of Drake’s three new projects: ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR.

The Manor was a unique experience, blending the stories from Drake’s albums with his NOCTA brand. It brought together the worlds of sports, music, and fashion, hosting a diverse group of influential figures. Alongside frequent collaborators like Central Cee and Yeat, as well as designer Domenico Formichetti and basketball player Devin Booker, Drake invited his closest friends and colleagues. The event created rare and unexpected connections – you’d be hard-pressed to find a place where Sexyy Red and up-and-coming Padel stars would come together.

From the exterior, Natirar was completely branded with Drake’s NOCTA line – golf carts displayed the logo, the basketball court featured NOCTA’s three-crosses design, and even pajama sets had “NOCTA Manor” stitched on them. However, according to someone in media who was there, the branding inside the house itself was surprisingly subtle beyond what everyone saw online.

The event appeared heavily branded online, acting as a virtual experience designed to create buzz and make people feel like they were missing out. However, for the select few invited to the exclusive in-person gathering at NOCTA Manor, it felt less like a marketing campaign and more like a lavish spa retreat hosted by Drake for his friends – with branding woven into the story as an afterthought.

We’re examining every detail of the event, from personalized gifts and welcome bags to the attendees and transportation.

The Guest List

Throughout the week, everyone connected to The Boy’s crew spent time at the Manor. Loe Shimmy, preparing to release his new album after “I’m Spent,” and Sexyy Red were there for the whole stay. Others who visited included Central Cee, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Nemzzz, and Yeat.

The event wasn’t limited to just other rappers. Veneda Carter, graphic designer Domenico Formichetti, and Drake’s stylist JuJu (who inspired a line in his song “High Fives”) were all there, as they frequently collaborate with him on releases. True to form for Drake, NBA stars Kevin Durant and Devin Booker showed up, along with professional padel players Juan Lebrón and Agustín Tapia.

The Lay of the Land

It all fits together perfectly considering the Manor featured padel and tennis courts as a central attraction. The Pendry Natirar went all-out for the week with full Drake (OVO) branding. Guests were transported around the large grounds in golf carts branded with “NOCTA Manor,” and there was even a full-size indoor basketball court decorated with stylish NOCTA and OVO logos. Nike, NOCTA, and OVO flags flew outside the entrance.

The NOCTA logo was creatively displayed in the grass, and umbrellas decorated the areas around the tennis courts and pool. Tennis equipment and a DJ booth – designed to look like a beach towel rack – both featured the NOCTA branding in a low-key way.

A buffet with fresh food was available outdoors throughout the day, and the staff wore matching NOCTA Manor apparel. Sexyy Red and Loe Shimmy filmed a lot of content for social media on the couches near the buffet during their retreat.

The house featured a grand dining room designed like a medieval hall, complete with a long table set for dinner each night and decorated with candles and a special menu created by Carbone. A sleek pool table in the living room offered another form of entertainment, its cue ball sporting a black Nike Swoosh.

A Custom Robe Fit for a King

Drake wasn’t often seen in his NOCTA clothing even at home. Instead, he wore a unique robe created by designer Domenico Formichetti, who was visiting. The robe was quilted and featured a special “NOCTA Manor” emblem on the back. Formichetti shared some behind-the-scenes photos of the robe’s creation on Instagram.

And a New Nike Mind Debut

He was wearing NOCTA shoes, specifically two new versions of his NOCTA x Nike Mind 001 mules. He wore a black pair with a smoky design while playing padel, and a different pair featuring a blue-to-pink color fade. The blue-to-pink mules had the NOCTA three-crosses logo airbrushed on top and custom branding on the tongue. These custom shoes were made only for the NOCTA Manor event and aren’t available for sale yet.

The Merchandise

The host didn’t hold back with gifts, ensuring each guest left with a generous collection of treats. They were welcomed with a personalized card saying, “Welcome to NOCTA Manor. We’ve put together special amenities and exclusive items for your stay.” And it was quite a selection! Every guest found a silk pajama set with “NOCTA MANOR” embroidered on it, plus a comfortable pair of slippers and a luxurious eye mask, all waiting on their bed when they arrived.

Formichetti also took inspiration from Drake’s unique robe design, creating silk bandanas featuring the ‘NOCTA Manor’ pattern. A light brown beach bag with the same ‘NOCTA Manor’ design was also released.

The designer created a special emblem for NOCTA Manor, which was featured on grey sweatsuits worn by everyone at the event. The outfit – a hoodie and sweatpants – became an unofficial uniform, with the emblem prominently displayed on both pieces.

As a huge fan, I was so excited to see they dropped another set of gear – this one’s totally inspired by the World Cup! It’s got that classic football look with bold red and blue color blocking, but it’s really polished up with gold details. The whole thing is a three-piece outfit: a polo, a hoodie, and some awesome track pants. What I love most is that each piece has the same cool gold NOCTA Manor logo on it.

Each attendee received a unique, signed glove called ICEMAN, created with Nike. Inspired by the artwork from Drake’s ICEMAN album, the white leather glove is decorated with silver rhinestones and features Drake’s signature on the back of the hand. It also has perforated detailing on the fingers and a small black Nike logo.

There was also a spot at the event where you could personalize your gear with airbrushing on clothes and shoes. People were customizing the new ‘Minds’ designs, or creating their own looks on plain t-shirts and sweat suits.

Ever since Drake’s NOCTA store temporarily shut down, he’s been relatively quiet except for sharing some photos and releasing a small collection of basic clothing items. However, on Tuesday, NOCTA announced it was continuing its partnership with basketball player Kevin Durant, launching a new line of t-shirts, hoodies, and athletic wear designed together.

Following his departure from OVO Sound, Drake has partnered with Apple TV for a promotional Instagram post about their upcoming show, Neuromancer, which premieres January 22nd. While Drake doesn’t appear in the trailer, he’s confirmed to be a producer on the 10-episode cyberpunk series, based on William Gibson’s 1984 novel. This adds another accomplishment to his growing list of successes.
