Married At First Sight star takes swipe at reality series and reveals he never watched the show before ‘naively’ signing up
As a dedicated follower of reality TV shows and someone who has lived through the rollercoaster ride that is Married At First Sight, I can’t help but empathize with Ash Galati’s recent Instagram post. One year ago, he took a leap of faith, much like many before him, and embarked on this wild and crazy journey without even knowing what the show was about!
As a loyal participant who joined “Married At First Sight,” I must confess that I had never tuned into the show prior to my enrollment in it. However, I can’t help but express a discreet critique of the series now that I’m part of it.
On Wednesday, he posted a collection of photos on Instagram that showed glimpses of his experience during Season 11 of the well-known reality dating show. (97 characters)
The photos showed Ash looking stressed ahead of his wedding to his TV bride Madeline Maxwell.
In a lengthy caption, Ash confessed that he had a blend of emotions regarding his experience on the program.
Last year, I ventured beyond my familiar boundaries, taking a daring, adventurous plunge – much like countless others who’ve come before me, I embarked on a journey of trust and self-discovery.
Standing on that altar, the sensation is quite unusual, and yet there’s a strange allure to it. It’s an odd activity, but truthfully, I wouldn’t swap this experience for anything else.
1) ‘Reflecting on those times stirs up a mix of emotions. I welcomed whatever the future held with an open heart. I am incredibly thankful to my entire family for dropping everything and rushing to Sydney at such short notice.’
Moving forward, Ash confessed that he hadn’t seen a single episode of the series prior to agreeing to join it.
‘I was so f***ing naive about the whole thing, I literally never watched it,’ Ash said.
In a more conversational style, “I’m buying wedding suits and dressy outfits for dinner parties at Myer, but it seems some guys on the show have already agreed to rent suits from companies. I guess I missed that memo.”
Ash mentioned that the show was a truly memorable event for him, and he expressed no regrets about his participation in the series.
‘I have no ill feelings or any real regrets,’ he said. ‘Maybe a subtle dig though.’
1. “That experiment is now history for me. I gave it a try, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out as planned, and that’s simply how life goes. Honestly, I’m okay with it. It’s time to move forward. Dwelling on the past could potentially harm your future prospects.”
Ash concluded his lengthy post by disclosing that he’s yet to find love. He expressed his intention to seek it outside the glare of cameras.
‘I still want love, And I know I’ll get it, ‘ he said.
‘I’ll guess I’ll have to do it the old fashion way……. TINDER.’
Ash is catching up on missed opportunities following his unsuccessful match with Madeleine Maxwell from Home and Away during the dating experiment.
At the Grand Prix after party in Melbourne, held in March, he was seen affectionately interacting with an unidentified lady.
As I stood alongside the captivating brunette at the elite Ms Collins nightclub, I couldn’t help but break into a radiant grin, finding myself caught up in our vibrant photo session.
The beautiful person he was with had her arm affectionately around him, and the duo appeared to be thoroughly enjoying themselves while socializing with famous acquaintances.
At some point, Ash enthusiastically pressed a heartfelt kiss onto his attractive companion, signifying that he has resumed dating following the breakdown of things on MAFS.
Galati expressed to Daily Mail Australia in March that he has no plans to rejoin MAFS, since he’s no longer available on the dating market.
