As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that Demi Moore’s ability to revisit her iconic roles and still command attention is nothing short of extraordinary. Her latest recreation of the Striptease pose is a testament to her timeless beauty and unwavering confidence.

28 years after the original, Demi Moore reprised her timeless, ageless charm by recreating her famous pose from the film “Striptease”.

The actress, aged 61, posed alluringly on a chair, wearing just a black jacket and satin shorts, as a tribute to her role from the 1996 film.

In the September edition of Interview magazine, Demi Moore and photographer Petra Collins drew inspiration from a particular film for their photo shoot.

Demi earned the title of highest-paid actress in Hollywood after receiving a paycheck of $12.5 million to headline the film, Striptease.

The dark comedy starred the actress  as an FBI agent who finds herself without a job and resorts to stripping at a Miami club called the Eager Beaver.

Despite receiving negative reviews from critics, the film still earned a decent income, largely due to the appeal of Demi’s revealing appearances.

In one famous scene, Demi swept her bra off while providing a private dance to a congressman played by Burt Reynolds.

As a devoted admirer looking back, I can share that director Andrew Bergman, who was also a co-writer on Blazing Saddles, later commented that my film with Demi outperformed nearly anything I’ve been part of. The ancillary aspects of the project were truly monumental.

He jokingly shared with Entertainment Weekly: “People said ‘I wouldn’t watch it under any circumstances,’ yet now that it’s available for rent, they say ‘I’ll get Schindler’s List and Striptease.’ It reminds me of when I was a kid, buying condoms at the pharmacy but also grabbing a dozen tubes of toothpaste as well.”

Despite the film being a critical failure which negatively impacted Demi’s career, it fueled accusations that she relied too heavily on showing off her physique for attention.

Humorist Paul Kaye (also known as Dennis Pennis) casually questioned Demi Moore during the premiere of Striptease: “Would there ever be situations where, without being excessive or inappropriate, you might decide to wear clothes for a role in a film?”

Demi was unamused by the quip and walked off.

Demi posed for the publication to promote her edgy new movie The Substance about a star who injects herself with a black market drug to look younger.

The actress said she was ‘moved’ when she read the movie’s script.

Demi found it remarkably refreshing to delve into the topic of growing old, societal norms, and the unspoken expectations placed on women due to the male-dominated ideal, which many women unconsciously adopt.

She continued, ‘At the core of it, what it’s really about is what we do to ourselves, and I loved that it was illustrated in such a physical way—showing that violence with what we do with our thoughts, how we attack ourselves and distort things,’ she said.

‘There’s great power in knowing that what we do to ourselves is a choice, and we can make a different choice.

‘And for those who aren’t looking for such a deep message, it’s just entertaining.’
