5 of the most epic UFC fan tattoos, and 5 of the worst
As a seasoned MMA fan with over two decades of watching these incredible fighters, I’ve seen it all – from the most breathtaking victories to the most questionable tattoos. The ink that adorns our favorite UFC warriors is as much a part of their identity as their fighting styles. However, fans aren’t far behind in showing their dedication through body art.
In many cases, UFC fighters and tattoos share a strong connection. It’s more common to encounter tattooed fighters than those without ink, and the body art is often a distinguishing feature for these athletes. Familiar examples include Tony Ferguson’s winged back design, last names emblazoned across chests among other fighters, or Conor McGregor’s tiger etched on his abdomen – sights that MMA enthusiasts have grown accustomed to.
Tattoos aren’t always tasteful; some can be quite debatable. For instance, there’s Roosevelt Roberts’ “Bout Money” tattoo and countless wrestling or pitbull tattoos that have been inked. Remarkably, some fighters have gone as far as getting tattoos on their faces, like Sean O’Malley and Cody Garbrandt.
Yet, it’s important to note that MMA fighters aren’t the sole individuals who get inked. In fact, enthusiasts have crafted some remarkably impressive tattoos showcasing their beloved fighters. Regrettably, not every fan has carefully considered their body art choices, leading to some spectacular fails in their pursuit of ultimate fandom. Here, I will share five of my favorite fan tattoos and another five that, in my opinion, didn’t quite hit the mark.
If you’ve got a tattoo inspired by UFC, I’d be thrilled to take a peek! Don’t forget to share it on Twitter with @photoamy33 so I can check it out.
5 of the best UFC themed fan tattoos
At the top of the list is a remarkable full-body UFC tattoo showcasing iconic fighters, with Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Michael Bisping, and both Joe Rogan and Bruce Buffer included.

The vibrant Alex Pereira tattoo on his leg is mind-blowing, with its colors being particularly striking; it’s an unforgettable instant for any Pereira enthusiast.

This epic color tattoo of Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor from their rematch is like a photograph and probably the best tattoo on this list. It’s actually insane that this is a tattoo.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s latest tattoo is simply astounding, with its unique font and striking grayscale design. Let’s overlook any negative comments from social media and appreciate this beautiful piece of artwork instead.
A fellow decided to get a tattoo of Khabib. He aimed to experience being one of Khabib’s opponents, with the hope that he would always carry Khabib’s likeness. #UFC

This tattoo is done so incredibly well, though i’m confused why Leon Edwards looks sad. Even though the content is a littel weird, the arts pretty spectacular.

5 of the worst UFC themed fan tattoos
Is it clear why this happened, or do I need to explain? Who is this character meant to represent? The person who won the UFC’s double championship seems strikingly similar to Bobby from “King of the Hill.” Could you shed light on the reason behind this resemblance?

No offense to Bruce Buffer but who outside of Bruce Buffer wants a Bruce Buffer tattoo? And this big? It’s a great tattoo but why waste your money of this. Sorry, we love you Brucey.
Fan love is real in Russia!

While this isn’t traditionally considered a ‘fan tattoo’, given that it’s Sean O’Malley himself being inked, it seemed unusual and warranted mention. After all, how often does one get a tattoo of oneself? It’s quite an odd sight, indeed.

This takes Conor McGregor fandom to a whole new level, and it’s low. This tattoo is inspired by McGregor’s pinstripe suit but it really falls flat as a tattoo.
